gantz
Hey everyone, Dr. Fushun Ma http://eng.plasticsurgerybeijing.com/ I found this doctor reading through the cozycot cheekbone reduction thread, he was being mentioned a lot and very highly regarded, especially for zygoma reduction. So I checked his website, he seems pretty knowledgeable about zygoma reduction and maxillofacial surgeries, I like how he explains the procedures and has impressive before and after photos, he kinda gives a trustworwthyish aura, to me at least ^^. I am interested in getting v-line and possibly zygoma reduction but Im kinda scared to have surgery in China. On the other hand, Im also really scared of getting botched in Korea and end up with massive sagging.... Ughhh what to do?! :/ I'm caucasian btw ! Sooo.. has anybody heard anything about him? Like any kind, consultations, real people's experiences and testimonials, I can't read chinese so I can't search him in chinese forums I haven't contacted him yet, I will update once I do. Any kind of information will be great! Thanks a lot
gantz
Update!! I found this: http://bbs.tianya.cn/post-837-10550-1.shtml and http://www.soyoung.com/p3954244?group_id=1216300 about him. Obviously bad stuff. The first says that a woman died and the second is a botched customer? Can someone who understands chinese shed some light here? Thanks *EDIT: And this: http://www.zhihu.com/question/34254933
cv_gloria
Hi, in dr Fushun's website, it seems his specialty is zygoma reduction. His explanation is clear there. I visited him in Beijing in 2014 to consult but not yet done any surgey. I think I need someone also who can share their experience 😎. I visited him in his little office that looked shabby in 1 apartement building and he told me if I'd like to undergo surgery, I could go directly to his hospital (i forget the hospital's name but it's quite good hospital). So we really need this translation.
villagegirl
On Chinese social media site (called weibo), there's news reporting that a 48-year old woman died after the plastic surgery performed by Dr Ma in 2010.
gantz
He does his surgeries in Weifang Hospital.. That soyoung like is a review on him, read it, I had also found another negative one but I didn't save the link. From what google translate says from the links I provided before I can see that a woman died after plastic surgery with him like the villagegirl said below, also that the tenon and mortice method he claims he uses for zygoma reduction is a lie, he just has a really good advertisement team, he botches and then accuses the patient is at fault, never claims responsibility and is money driven. That's a shame cause I really liked the way he explained the things in his website and I wanted to consult with him. How did your consultation go? Do you mind sharing your experience? cv_gloria
Hi, My consultation with him went well because his English was good (I had to make appointment at least 1 month in advanced because he spent a lot of time in Canada). He didn't seem pushy to do the surgery, he explained the perfect measurement for human face and the procedures to do before surgery. Objectively I don't think he is money driven because I can make a bargain for USD10,000 (from 12,500 offered) for reduction of cheek, mandible and 3 days in the hospital. Anyway thanks for the link you shared, I've also already translated them with google. Realizing so many complaints, I think I won't do anything with him. Too bad he seems a nice person. gantz
I don't know about the price, seems kinda expensive to me but I would give it for a good result..Anyway, did you see any before and after pictures of his work? Did he explain his method? In his website it is explained as well, but could you give me some more information about it? What exactly does he mean with the tenon and mortice method? People claim his technique is a lie..
