anna85
Hi everyone. I will be visiting Seoul for a second time on 12th March - 23th March 2016. From what I've read, it still in winter weather and approximately around 0c - 10c. What should I wear during those temperature? Do I need to bring along accessories like gloves, earmuffs too? Would like to make few friends too
jeet-dhindsa
It's still a little chilly around that time. I wouldn't bring that stuff, if anything you can pick those items up here pretty cheap.
sssxccc
Nooooo!!I was hoping it wouldn't be too cold I'm going the first two weeks of March though. For me last time I brought some cold clothes but feel like I didn't bring enough. I'm from the states (CA) and it doesnt' get THAT cold so I definitely was freezing. One thing that definitely saved my life though were my UGGS. They kept my toes warm. I didn't have gloves and this is one thing I wish I had! This time around, I think I'll bring gloves+uggs+thicker sweaterjacket/+baseball cap, but I still want to keep things minimal. A thick jacket will already take up so much space. anna85
then it's bearable lol. Thank you I'm thinking about booking a hotel near Seoul station to be close to Gimpo Airport but I'm afraid that people will stare at me wearing a plastic surgery mask There're more backpackers than PS patients in this zone, right? Last time when I lived near Sinsa station I felt so comfortable 'cause there were many girls wearing masks in my hotel lol
sculli
yes it can be very cold in March. I went there last year in March and at night it's so chilly (but I'm used to it, where I live weather is similar). You don't need earmuffs or gloves. wool coat and warm scarf is enough. If you have any questions about Seoul PM me, I also have kakao. I might go to Seoul again in March 2016.
