gantz Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Yeah I agree about Qiu Qiu.. Does anybody know if Ngmiyake did facial contouring surgeries and where?
luzie Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Miyake didn't do facial contouring if I'm not wrong. I do follow her blog especially her posts on plastic surgery. So far, she's done double eyelid, rhino and fat graft. She probably did Botox to her jaw only.
floweryy Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 The doublechin is even more obvious here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGNqIA8HMMM I wouldnt be happy at all. Anyone know if she did full zygoma? i just remember that she mentioned chin and jaw not if she did full zygoma or not.
gantz Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 In her video description about her surgery (part 2) she says she did zygoma, doesn't say if it was 3d zygoma or quick zygoma. What makes me wonder is this: she said she put a chin implant, but when you put an implant supposedly the double chin appears less obvious or doesn't appear at all? Am I wrong? So why does she have such a huge double chin? She didn't have a fat face before either.. In her ct scan I don't see an implant or forwarded chin, just the screws from t-osteotomy
murt Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Hmm - yeah the sagging is all down her cheeks... both she and Qiu Qiu look older now than they did before their surgeries, sadly. Though they are both still cute.
milkychoco Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 I've been following her even before she had surgery and trust me she didn't have any double chin back then, even if there was I didn't notice it. I think it happened because she didn't even need v-line surgery in the first place, actually she just wanted double eyelid surgery but the doctor recommended V-line along with it.
chloefinds Posted March 7, 2016 Author Posted March 7, 2016 Some websites claim their technology during jaw reduction can prevent sagging..is that some bs marketing or true?
avene Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I also read the review in Qiu Qiu blog about her experience and I can see her face is sagged. In my case, I have no high cheek bone and my skin is already sagged. I also feel scared about skin sagging but my result is quite successful unlike my concern and still i feel really good . I'm not sure the sagging must be happened or not after facial contouring
pixel01 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Double chin or extra fat on the face and jaw/neck area seems very likely after jaw reduction. It's annoying but I don't think it'll be too invasive to get rid of it. The worse part is that removing the fat will increase chances of sagging, especially after fc when the likelihood of sagging is already very high.. If lipo or vaser lipo is too invasive, try looking into coolsculpting or fat dissolving injections like kybella. If you plan to do ultherapy on the neck or other skin tightening treatments to help with sagging after fc, the double chin and extra fat in that area might actually be beneficial since ulthera will burn some fats as a side effect while helping to tighten the skin. So maybe the more fats you have, the more skin tightening treatments you can have
pixel01 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Hmm.. technique does matter so I think it may help but most of the time, I'd say it's just marketing. May I ask what the technology is? To access the bone in order to cut it, the dr will separate the bone from the periosteum. Even if you aren't cutting a lot of bone off, this separation will already increase the chances of sagging since the periosteum won't attach to the bone like how it was before surgery. Be sure to wear your head garment as instructed -it should help with the reattachment I will ask the doctors I consult with if they are able to somewhat reattach the soft tissues and skin back to the bone but since there won't be any screws or plates in the jaw area after surgery, I'm not sure if it's possible..maybe some sort of bone glue?
gantz Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Thanks! I have seen some chinese getting the fat dissolving injections, but I have read here on pf from K Couture that these injections are very unpredictable and might have side effects, such as prolonged swelling. The swelling depends on how your body will react to the injection which is different for every individual. Do you happen to know what substances they contain?
gantz Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I also have this question, how does the skin reattach to the bone? Especially when there is less of it..
pixel01 Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 The active ingredient is deoxycholic acid. Do you know which fat dissolving injection she was referring to? And do you know how long the prolonged swelling could last? But if it depends on the person then I guess the only way you know if it works for you is to try it. But I think every procedure -invasive or not invasive will have possible side effects. Swelling isn't so bad I think -itd be worse if you end up with uneven fat reduction or lumps I don't think it'll cause a dramatic change if you have a lot of fat -might require a lot of sessions which might end up being quite costly. If you need a lot of fat removed, I think lipo will produce more dramatic and predictable results. But since it's more invasive, finding a good dr is more important
microchip Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 What Sodium said is correct, that surgery is not a one-time thing. Do only when you really need it. As for facelift, it is not that permanent....a lady who did it said it lasted 5 years for her....
