wrenji
Hello everyone. I recently came back from Korea had my nose and a few other things done. Not happy with my nose yet as I feel it is way too long and exaggerated to the point where it looks very fake. However my number one fear now is extrusion. I have a pink part on the tip of my nose. Is that a sign of extrusion? There is no pain but much tightness where the tip is. My nose is just over 1 week old and doesn't move is very stiff. I cannot smile properly yet. Doctor says it is because he use rib for the septal extending graft. Can anyone who experience this before tell me please what precation should be taken and at what sign should I immediately book a plane ticket back to korea in case extrusion is coming? z125
I'm no specialist but I've done enough research to know that having a pink part at the tip is likely not normal. I encourage you to consult with a local surgeon to identify the problem as soon as possible, and if it is the early signs of an extrusion then you should probably arrange a flight to return to Korea. I'm around 2.5 weeks postop and the color of my entire tip and bridge is just normal skin color. Does the pink part match the pictures of extrusion online? wrenji
It is a lighter fainter colored version of extrusion pictures online. Thanks for the advice. I went to see a GP but he said it is better I go see a plastic surgeon locally to be sure. For now he said since there is no fluid coming out and no pain it seems to be ok? rinda10
I did my nose job in S.Korea, and I don't think a pink part seems be problem. why don't you check nose with a local doctor?
