Hi all.

I am finally getting close to heading to Korea for my ps consultations. As I work a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster here in Australia, I am planning on making one trip for consultations and then a return trip for surgery. This might seem unnecessary, however to squeeze it all in to one stay before heading back to work would be rushed and I believe unwise for reasons of recovery. FYI I am looking at a few rhinoplasty procedures, acculift, ptosis correction and possibly fat grafting.

My question is: how many days of consultations do you think you could handle before it all becomes too much? I imagine after a while it would be information overload and also fatigue etc would set in. I'm thinking three consults per day for three days would be a good place to start, but I'm keen to get your thoughts. Would five days of consults be out of the question? There are just so many clinics and only so much I can glean from internet research!

Thanks in advance,

GS.

Thanks for your feedback. I actually meant doing consults all day for five days in a row. Say Mon-Fri. Still working on the shortlist though and hopefully I can get it down a bit more.

That's exactly what I thought could happen! They all blend into one. Thanks again

In my case, i visit 2~3 clinic per day!
I'd taken around 2~3 hour per consultation, so 5 clinic per day..well.. not possible i guess.

Do not consult with too many koz ur judgement gets f up after 2 or 3.. exhausting experience. my advice is trust 2-3 hospitals go for consultation on those days decide between the 3 and get it over with. u should be researching and judging before u come here to make it easier for u. not just blindly come n do it its safer that way

Ya, agree. I think 2 - 3 should be enough. It is exhausting and confusing in the end if you do more. But before you go, you would have done research and some people even just narrow down to one before they go .

Thanks, that makes sense.

Hey! If you don't mind, what procedures are you interested in and which doctors/clinics?

Thanks

Hi Ilektra  I'm looking at rhino (lateral osteotomy, hump removal, bulbous nose), ptosis correction on my right eye, Acculift or similar procedure for double chin and jaw line, jaw masseter muscle reduction with botox and maybe fat graft. Although I'm researching the effects of fat graft for a guy -I don't want to look too feminine. What am I saying? I don't want to look feminine at all ;)

At the moment I'm liking Cinderella, JW, Jayjun and definitely The Line.

Aah I see..I am looking at similar procedures, the same as your nose, acculift, fat graft and mini v-line!

If you want not to look feminine ask your surgeon for a natural result, I have seen a few fat grafts on men and they look good;)

For nose, I saw that another male forumer went to Baum, he said the doctor there does many male noses, you might want to check them out. Plus there is a forum for male plastic surgery here!

Are you a fan of Stephen King? haha:P
See you!

Wow thanks so much for that info! Much appreciated. Yes I have Baum on my list, but that's great to know they do plenty of work with men. To be honest that's one of my criteria when researching.

To answer your question, my name isn't a SK reference, but yes I am a fan! Who isn't

How's your research going -have you narrowed down some clinics?

Since my main concern is the mini v-line (and maaaaybe quick zygoma) I am conducting a very thourough research. I want t-ostotomy but no titanium screws, so I am researching about the dissolvable ones  I am going to Korea in 2018. So I have shortlisted only clinics who specialize in bone work so far..

For acculift I found a clinic called Sejin Plastic Surgery, they have many before and afters. I have seen they also do noses and fat graft but I don't remember if I saw photos of these. Plus only Korean website so not really much information.

For the nose so far I can say that I like the results and manner from the Trend doctor. I also liked the results from a clinic called Comain or Comiin(?), not sure, but all their doctors are previously from clinics like Shimmian, Wonjin, Bk etc, so I don't know if I can trust them. I mean they could be the good doctors that left the clinics to open new ones, or they could be the really bad ones:sweatdrop:

But I haven't really done research on nose yet, since my main concern is bone work..

I am afraid that if you are going in 2016 to Korea I wont have time to share my findings on rhino with you :/
Do you have kakao?
Anyway, it would be great if you could update us with your ps journey progress:biggrin:
See you!

That's okay, if I go first I'll be able to share my findings! Yes, once I've booked consultations I'll start a thread

Is this the men's thread you mentioned?
