dedust2007 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Hi everyone, thanks for sharing. I'm really considering V line as well but I'm not into the artificial look. More into the westernised(a bit square) jaw like Miranda Kerr or Adriana Lima. I don't really want the pointed but that seems to be the result of most before and after that I see... Do you guys have any recommendation? I have a big face though and want to reduce it a bit to look more feminine especially side profile. Please share your thoughts
blobvy Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I don't like the "artificial" look either, I'm so scared that my v-line surgery will turn out too dramatic I've heard that JK plastic surgery supposedly has more natural results? And I like their before and after pictures.
bellaxuanling Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 What about square jaw reduction? Usually less sagging than v-line right?
dedust2007 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Yea are you planning on going soon? I'm a bit sceptical when there too many adverts and YouTube promo about a particular clinic. Have anyone thought about doing it in the states? I'm pretty sure all these celebs have it done in the states. And that would def give the more westernised look instead of pointy chin.
dedust2007 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I guess different area of sag. Jaw line a bit easier to mask I think and less apparent than chin which could eventually become double chin. I was watching how the surgery is done on YouTube last night. It is actually very invasive and scary. I'm really worried about sagging as I'm really not sure what my type of skin is. I'm quite thick skinned lol and when I pinch my skin up it is actually with a layer of fat... Is that good for surgery or not?
blobvy Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I don't live in the US myself but I'm considering Dr. Majid Jamali in New York. Still researching though. I think I will do the surgery in 2017 or 2018. Oh, we should probably stick to the subject Please send me a message if you want to discuss further. I still might do the surgery in Korea, I'm not sure yet. Thanks to everyone who posts their surgery experiences here, it means a lot
missfitt Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 This is very good question and I would like to know too. My skin is also thicker type with some fat. Is this type better for avoid sagging or worse? I think this type maybe is stronger than thin skin with not much fat because old people skin is thin with not much fat. At the same time maybe it is bad because it is too heavy and might sag afterwards?
deeepesd Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Jaw shaving generally results in less sagging than cheekbone reduction.
wlkyoung137a Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 I don't know whether you have overbite or undervite, but some doctors just recommend two-jaw surgery instead of facial bone contouring. Yup, you would better visit other clinics.. I also didn't want two-jaw. so scaryyyyyy.
wlkyoung137a Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 Before V-line surgery, I had asymmetry facial line and a bit wide chin. Btw, you said that you have a big face. It sounds that you may need V-line surgery and zygoma reduction as well. Big cheeckbone can make your face look wide. I also wanted natural result. I like my face now. I hope the swelling will reduce more.
kathy2406 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I see a lot of good comments about View!! Can't you do thread lift with the bone surgeries or is recovery needed after and then proceed with the lifting?
amy-vidic Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Hi! Its good that your are happy about the result. "I made my husband checked whether he has surgery directly or not. (hahaha… it seemed to be crazy right? -_- anyway.. ) anyway, I had surgery from Dr. yoon not other doctors." - Im just curious how did your husband check?? I just know that anybody exept medical stuff cannot be in the operation room.
