I want to have face contouring & double eyelid in Korea. But there are too many plastic surgery clinics... and I don't know how to choose...

Is it good to find an agent to help? I will go alone, so I need someone to company. I saw the youtube video of Chenelle Wen and Carmen Layrynn. they just did the surgery in Korea! They use DocfinderKorea service. It sounds good. Is it good to try to contact DocfinderKorea??

I am not sure if their services are fantastic or not. But I did contact them in May and confirmed my consultation and surgery in September! I contacted them by emails and they are really helpful in the emails, although I waited for the quote couple of weeks... Anyway, so far I can get all the information I want from them. They let me choose which clinic and doctor to undergo the surgery, help me to reserve the hotel room. They said they will pick me up in the airport and accompany me in the clinic. I hope everything will be good in September~~ (by the way, I am going to have double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty.)

Only use an agent if you absolutely HAVE to. If you have a lot of time until you plan to go, try to do as much of your own research as possible before turning to an agent.
I contacted them (out of curiosity, not really trying to use their service) several months ago and inquired about a few clinics and they said I could use their service for them. I contacted them again to inquire once more to see if anything changed and to see what they would quote me, but this time they said (to ALL four clinics that I listed) they do not trust those clinics and have had unhappy patient experiences.
I don't trust everything a company says 100% if they are trying to make money off me, especially when two months ago they were okay with the clinic I listed.
They always promote the same big clinics that give them a lot of commission, and it's a LIE when they say it's free and they're finding you the cheapest prices available.

I'm not advising against using agent at all, because some people feel better with them, but only do it if you have no other option!
Try contacting clinics directly for quotes, then inquire to docfinder about that clinic and see if they quote higher than the clinic.
A lot of clinics overcharge foreigners too, though, so watch out for that also!

For facial contouring, i recommend Cooki Plastic Surgery, I have had facial contouring there and I am very satisfied with my result.
I will start a thread and share my experience later .

What proceedures did you get for fc? I want to get quick zygoma push in and t-osteotomy with a slight jaw shave, all with dissolvable screws!

Does Cooki offer dissolvable screws? How long ago did you have the procedure? Do you notice any side effects, sagging, nerve damge etc? How much did you pay? Were you able to negotiate the price? How was the consultant's attitude? Pushy or not? The consultation with the doctor? Was he nformative and didn't hide the risks, or salesman? After-care service?

Do they offer english translating service?

Cooki is in my consultation list, with a small doubt however, cause they market a lot on Chinese..

Thank you in advance if you reply

Haha I have just posted a thread sharing my story, go check it out:smile:
As for the screws, hmmm...I am not very familiar with that but I guess those are titanium screws instead of dissolvable ones, but titanium is bio-compitable so I'm fine with that ^^

Well, to be honest, the English tranlator there, Zach, he was a bit too informative, to be honest...before surgery, he kept telling me how I will feel after waking up and how long that I had to wait for a natural final results which made me a bit scared ><
but think in another way, he was honest to me, so I think that's a good thing.

Im going in Late November for facial contouring and nose. Anyone know if they can be done at the same time or do I have to space it apart

Each clinic provides a different answer. Some clinics do together and some recommend that you first make the contour of the face and then a few months later the nose because your face will change after contouring and your nose will be adjusted to match the contour of the face.

hi i have been told it is aviceavle to do it seperately because your face will swell plus your nose swell, it will make you uncomfortable
