Hi,

I don't know too much about skincare, but would like advice on which products I should get. I have acne scars, freckles and some brownish sun spots around the cheeks. Skin seems fine around the areas I shave. I have large pores around the nose and blackheads. I'd like to overall look better, and even the skintone.

I'm thinking I should get a microdermabrasion home kit, does that work? I read it's more for light scars, nothing deep. I've done fraxel before, but just once and don't really feel like doing it again with a downtime of a week. Other thoughts are chemical peels, nose strips, not sure what else is out there.

My skin is a bit somewhat oily and sensitive. Nose has a reddish tint, and eye bags. It's a mess, haha.

Open to suggestions such as bb cream, and maybe make up as long as it doesn't look like I'm wearing anything.

Thanks in advance

It's a pity you didn't get fraxel at least one more try. You tend not to see results until after the second or third treatment.
Microdermabrasion was pretty useless for me. Don't use nose strips. You can try chemical peels. Maybe start with something light, 30-40% lactic acid, since you want to avoid downtown. Multiple treatments over a few months should help with pigmentation and brighten your skin. Always use sunscreen. Retin-A is also really good, but you need a prescription and it can get expensive.

I prefer CC cream to BB cream. It's lighter than BB cream, so it doesn't sit as heavily on your skin.
