gantz Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Hey everyone, has anyone made an account on a clinic's website? Many clinics have their before and after photos locked, and it is required to log in to have access to them. Has anyone done this or too bored? Have you given you real information? Real phone number and name? My concern is that this information could be saved by the clinic and they can have your real name. Plus I wouldn't like my cell to be full of advertising messages.. Would love to hear your opinions!
moonbeam3 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Hm! Which clinics have you looked at require this? And they want you to give all that info??? I haven't looked at many small clinic sites, just the larger ones. It seems like they have before and afters open, albeit ones of their choosing and limited. A few "real story" posts too, but I feel like those are really cheesy and manipulated.
squirrel-bogummy Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 I think it is not necessary in some clinics' websites. I was interested with face contouring bone surgery, so I read the thread asking for the best face bone surgeon in this forum and someone said Dr. LEE is well-known for it. So I went to DA's webpage and saw the reviews without signing up. Good thing they have eng website, I understood the reviews plus I was able to do the online consultation. I found the consultation fun cuz one who answered me was very friendly. The person mentioned that there are translators ready, so I don't have to spend wasteful extra money for agencies. Thinking of visiting Korea next vacation Wish me luck!http://en.daprs.com/htm/community_review.php
gantz Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 Many clinics require this, usually smaller ones, and those who don't advertise to foreigners, some examples would be The Face Dental, Appeal, Ilumi etc, I currenty can remember only these. From these Ihave only tried to subscribe to Appeal but saw the required fields and chickened out, I wanted to hear more opinions..
erichyung Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Doubt they I have done it. It's just a Korean thing. Usually the Chinese or English version of the site doesn't have that. You can use naver accounts to subscribe too. You won't get ads.
gantz Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Did you give your real name and phone number? I don't have a naver account..
erichyung Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 it doesn't matter what you use to subscribe. however if you are using your naver account you have to use your real phone number because it will send you a code to verify
happy-nonsense Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I have done this too. I'm from the US and was browsing around clinic websites to look through B&A pictures. I can't remember which websites I signed up for but I remember never having to enter my phone number, just my email address.
lovelypeach Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I did, but you don't have to enter your real name, though you need an email (and phone number sometimes). If they don't do the phone number checking, you can even invent one Yeah especially smaller clinics require phone number, all of this to see the b/a pictures sigh Have anyone encountered some subscription issues? Like you can't enter you adress or date of birth? Wish they could fix that asap lol
