moonbeam3 Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 As I said in my last post, I am soon moving to Korea. I have some things I'd like to have done, such a facial fat graft. I've lost some fat in the forehead and temples, and in my upper cheeks. I guess that is normal for late 20s? I don't like it. But I am Caucasian, and I wonder if maybe getting FT is a bad idea? I like the baby face aesthetic, but idk if it will look as good on white people. My skin is okay. I have larger pores and minor acne scarring, but they're only more noticeable now with the fat loss. Or there's a chance it won't work as well? Anyone white or familiar with white peoples experience getting surgery in Korea? How was everyone's experience with forehead fat graft? That one scares me the most due to the few stories I've heard about people going blind! But I really want it. I think round foreheads are cute and attractive. Also, having a caring surgeon with won't force too many surgeries is important to me. There are so many clinics, I won't know where to start!
shawtysoo Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 well actullay i'm not caucasian but i'm hispanic asian. i know its not the same case with you but i had my fat graft successfully. I only had the surgery on my forehead coz i used to have hollow forehead. it was kinda dreadful during recovery. like i already had my eyes done before fat graft, but all the recovery got better in a week. also i could cover the bruising and swelling with my makeup, but for fat graft, swelling was serious and more noticeable.. I tried to hide with my glasses but I still looked like a monster lol btw i'm 25, and the surgery absolutely looked good on me after recovery. so i dont think that having fat graft for your age can be an issue either.
moonbeam3 Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 I see! Where did you have it done? I definitely want to find a place that cares! And will assist if there are any problems afterwards.
shawtysoo Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I had my fat graft done at view. I did my eyes and nose surgery at other clinics tho. I liked my results at other clinics but they didn't really care me well after surgery. I still like my eyes and nose and theres no regret but im not going to them again.
moonbeam3 Posted August 13, 2016 Author Posted August 13, 2016 Thanks! I'm thinking of checking out View, April31, and BA Plastic Surgery. I think all three of those have English speaking consultants, if not doctors.
mellisa Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I am late 20's and I had full face fat grafting about 6 months ago. I like the result I am not Caucasian, I am an Asian, But I saw the video that some Caucasians had a surgery at the clinic.
gantz Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 How is your fat graft now? What percentage do you estimate has survived? Thanks
moonbeam3 Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 Oh cool! What clinic did you go to? I'm happy it worked for you. There are so many clinics in s.korea, my head is spinning haha. And it doesn't seem like there are reputable sites in English that review them.
moonbeam3 Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 thanks for all of that! I think I heard of Let Me In. Why was it an issue? It's good to hear they are kind! To be honest, that's something I'm really worried about! I'll be in an unfamiliar country, and I'm also just a very sensitive person. I am not very aggressive, and I don't want to be forced to have things done that I don't want to do. But I had them on my list! Along with TL, and April31. Although I see now that TL is on the blacklist in this forum!
mellisa Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Maybe about 50%? I didn't have 2nd touch up because I couldn't visit Korea again in 3 months. But I like my face now it looks much natural~~
mellisa Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I also searched hundreds of reviews and found this clinic. I had fat grafting at Fresh and they have English version website..
moonbeam3 Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 Oh I just looked at their site! Their before and afters look great. Actually, two of the Asian patients have reviews on Realfself and I recognized them (I think one of them is Korean and one isn't). I have to say, I'm also very impressed with Aones website as well. They had a 20 min video I found on endoscopic forehead lifts and why they may be more important than eyelid surgery, and they also refuse to do forehead implants because they look unnatural. They seem very knowledgeable and serious about achieving a natural and balanced result
kathy2406 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 shawtysoo Have you had eyes and nose consultation at View too? Do you know what kind of implant they recommend for their patients?
wlkyoung137a Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 I had V-line surgery in View. They have English coordinator of course. Besides, some of doctors can speak in English. I had my surgery by Dr.Yoon Chang Woon. He speaks English very well. I had talked with him by English.
wlkyoung137a Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 As I just told to others, I did V-line surgery in View. But I have heard that View is good at rhinoplasty as well. I read some thread in forum. Someone had nose surgery through Dr.Lee don chan(?).. normally they called him Dr.Lee... I can't sure his name now... anyways Dr.Lee. Also who is called Dr.Kim is good at nose job as well. I don't know his full name. Maybe the website states their name. Sometime I also want to have double eyelid surgery thesedays. There is no limit to my desire; beauty....;; What kind of eye surgery do u think?
