Best Closed Rhinoplasty Surgeons in Korea?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've been to a number of surgeons but they are all not very good. Dr.Park at dream was a disappointment and he failed to notice many of the issues other doctors diagnosed me with. Does anyone know of a highly skilled closed rhino doctor in korea?

what's wrong? Scars for life of course haha. I don't want it to be obvious whenever I lie down that I have had rhinoplasty....

You might think its invisible but it really isn't. I see them on many people in korea

moreover my case is as you said, has thicker skin. Doctors said they can get limited results, not that nice pointy and straight nose. To have scars for a "so-so" result is nonsense to me and so I'd rather do closed

Hi Erichyun, if you don't mind sharing, what issues specifically did Dr. Park fail to notice?

I had an open rhino in May 2016 so it's only been 3 months and the scar is already healing up quite well. Its slightly pink but not much different from my skin tone. And in a spot where most people do not usually think to look. Of course, if you don't want people to know at all, I guess closed is the way to go. But I think there are certain limitations on closed method, esp for primary since there may be many issues that are better addressed with open method.

As for closed-rhino doctors, I am also looking for one as I need a revision but I'm prefer to do the revision with closed method this time around. Should be easier than before since I only want the implant changed.

he proposed an overtly simplistic treatment plan and simply told me that not much could be done. Other doctors recommended several procedures that were helpful and showed me before after pictures of the problem being corrected. Only problem is they were open rhinoplasty surgeons. Though, the recommended procedure could be done closed and there are many in america doing it.

I am a guy so yes, I don't ever want to publicize that i had a nose job lol, especially with sub par results due to my thick skin

The question would be more of, what did he actually notice... He is a specialist in closed rhino and he simply gave up and said not much can be done when braun and the rest recommended me a whole bunch of procedures which I agreed with but at a disgusting price. Then I asked would open rhino be better for my case? He just said they are just preferential, with no real difference. The reason why many surgeons use open is because they are not skilled enough to shape tips well and accurately with closed. And the last thing is, you ladies may think that no one notices your columella scars but there are a few things that might be happening. 1. Unobservant friends. 2. Friends that notice but don't know about rhinoplasty so they ignore it. 3. Friends that notice it but don't say anything because it would be awkward.

Don't you feel insecure whenever your makeup is off and the scar shows? Or when you lift your heads? I saw a video on YouTube about this girl who did rhino at ID and wow. I guess some people really don't think much of their scars. I would consider it a botched job tbh

Do you really believe people will go out of their way to look at your nose scar? I think unless the nose is a big difference from original no one would purposely look? If the scar is very big across my face of course I feel insecure but is such a small line no need to even use foundation. Light concealer dab dab with finger and then no more.

its likely just me. I've talked to a few people in Korea and instantly noticed their scar without looking for it, I felt it looked kind of bad. her nose looked natural though. Which isn't a good thing really, because if you're already "plastic" might as well be fantastic. I am not talking about going out but like say with your bf or friends when you dont wear make up. Unless you start off the relationship by saying "hi, nice to meet you, i am plastic , hope you don't mind" , it's going to be an issue depending on which country you are from and how open minded your friends are. At the very least you can expect some gossip about you.

My personal choice is natural. I am not comfortable with having an obviously done nose. Natural means dfifferent things to different people. For my natural I think is a nose that is not too long, smaller nice asian nose. Not sharp like white person. I don't want curve nose because curve nose is obvious is fake. I am not sure what you mean by plastic fantastic because I can't picture that in my head haha. I feel if my bf or friends don't want to be with me because I have a small scar and it means I did plastic surgery then I am not interested in having people like that around me. I think everyone should be like that also don't you think. Gossip can be good or bad I guess. I hoping if people gossip afrer I do my nose they will say "did you know she did her nose in korea? Its look natural and nice right?" that what i hope

I feel you on the scars thing. That's actually why I went with Dr. Park instead of a few others I consulted with - I didn't know any other surgeons who do closed rhinoplasty at the time in Korea, though I'm sure plenty of them exist! My first 2 surgeries with him were unsatisfactory, though - there was very little change. Just had another (hopefully final) revision with him and have resigned myself to the fact that my nose will never be "perfect". I also didn't end up doing alarplasty using the external excision method for that exact same reason, even though it would have improved my nose width more substantially more than the internal approach. A lot of surgeons claim the scar is invisible, but I always seem to see those 2 lines under the nose base in the "after" photos and on celebrities, which seems to me like a dead giveaway.

I'm curious to hear what other surgeons other have come across that do closed rhinoplasty, as well, in case I need another revision for whatever reason... really hoping I won't have to go through surgery a 4th time, though! Has anyone heard of / had experience with other surgeons who do the closed method?

I don't seem to notice these scars... do you have pictures showing what you mean? Also were the revisions you did with him free?
