wishingstar Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Hi Purseforumers, I wanted to share a warning about some problems I am having now with Dream. I have had 3 nose surgeries with Dr. Park (primary + 2 revisions), with each surgery to correct problems / complications caused by the surgeries there before. A small, hard lump (from diced cartilage mixed with fat that Dr. Park injected there previously to augment to bridge) formed under the skin on one side of my nose bridge after the 2nd surgery. I paid a lot to fly back from the USA to have the bump removed surgically last week. However, not only did the clinic charge me for the 3rd surgery (despite previous promises that it would be free for me due to the medical complications), ****the hard lump was not fully removed*** after the 3rd surgery (2nd revision) last week. I can still feel it whenever i touch my nose, and my skin is starting to turn a bit red there due to damage from the lump. I have been unsuccessfully trying to get the clinic to reply in order to see Dr Park about it during my brief layover in Korea tomorrow....otherwise, I would have to pay a fee thousand USD more and burn up all my vaca days for another yeat if i had to fly back without getting it resolved and talking to the doctor. From past experience, It usually takes a long time for Dream to respond when after surgery problems arise. (There were even some times when I was trying to coordinate the bump removal surgery that they would take weeks, and I had to send several follow up emails.) However, the English coordinator finally responded today saying she "checked with the consultant" who said it could not possibly be a remaining lump. Basically, they flat out *denied* that there is a remaining problem.....even though part of the hard lump is still clearly felt on the side of my nose bridge! I am extremely upset and anxious about the poor aftercare / lack of satifsactory response / flat out denial by the clinic that there is still a small hard lump on my nose caused by my 2nd surgery there that was supposed to be removed by my 3rd surgery (which i flew back for from the usa) i have spent around $8000 USD in total counting each time's additional surgery fee and feel like I get ignored after I have paid...the attitude is different before paying. I have not been able to successfully get anyone to talk to Dr Park for me about my case or get any response as to what treatment may be needed to fully remove it. I don't even want a perfect nose....i just want the medical complication and hard lump caused by the last surgery to be fully removed. Does anyone have another contact at Dream I may try? I have been corresponding with Julia through [email protected], and I am thinking I may need to try another / all contacts to try and get the issue resolved asap. Any advice would be welcome and appreciated, and I also hope my problematic experience helps others on this forum. I will also write more later regarding my unsatisfactory experiences with all 3 of my surgeries there (primary rhino + 2 revisions).

I'd post your experience along with supporting pics (good before and after pics gets them business, botched pics do the opposite) to as many sites as you can as perhaps if Dream sees you are hurting their business, they'll help you. missfitt Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Sorry to hear. If it helps I think it not possible to be fat cartilage? Fat cartilage doesn't just form like that or appear out of no where. Unless fat cartilage can grow on its own? Is there even such a thing? If not then I think like @d00little say is correct that maybe is scar from so many surgery might be the case.. Many clinics use laser for bumpy scar so hope that is easy solution. Wishing wishing all the best

I had been considering Dream also but no longer plan to consult or do surgery with them since I am also afraid of not getting responses to my emails after the surgeries. If a clinic messes up a surgery, they need to take responsibility until the problem is solved. It also seems shady how they aren't honoring what they said originally about free revisions and made you pay to fix their mistakes. Yikes I'm not taking my chances since I only have 1 nose. Maybe try contacting other clinics, too, to see if another doctor may be able to remove the lumps on your nose caused by the fat injection on your bridge done at Dream? koalaaa Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I had very similar story. I had non-incision double eyelids with ptosis corrections last 2 years ago with Dr Park. My ptosis is still there. My eyelids are uneven and droopy.
susaki Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 I did ptosis correction by dr park in may and he totally corrected my left eye, however, I still hv a bit ptosis problem on my right eye. And I want to make my eyelids a bit wider, ur review freaked me out, I don't know whether I shud go back to dream, could you please kindly share your Kakao ID or email address so that I can contact you directly? kanesise Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 sorry to hear about the issue. I don't think you would not able to get response even though you contact to the other person who walks at Dream. As @Gat said, you need to ask to the Korean Consumer Agency to get any feedback from clinic.

vichyk Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Oh my lord, I was hoping that Dr. Park would fix my nose, with softer silicon and fascia and everything. But oh no. Just wondering, when was your diced cartilage surgery? Doesn't Dr. Park only uses silicon? Let us know, I am also looking for a revision due to damaged skin, lets keep in touche.

If they already failed 3 times, I think it's best to go to another doctor? Hey, all the best and stay positive.
beauty12 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I wouldn't recommend going back to Dream after 3 failed surgeries. Dr Park just doesnt seem to be able to fix the problem once, then it's not worth the risk of going back to him. I hope you can PM, so we can converse some more. .
