gil_taylor Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 So ive been looking at facial contouring for awhile now, going through all the well known clinics in korea such as Wonjin, ID, DA and Regan etc..on the internet including here on this forum. (Ive been following this forum to see any updates on facial contouring surgery experiences, but its gone quiet so i wanted to start a new thread here.) Ive heard that most clinics a specific area of surgery that they are well known for, so i really want to know which clinic people think is best for facial contouring. (from past patient/experiences) i would love to see some results or hear about peoples experiences and suggestions
bunny-in-the-fountain Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 I think best would be Dr. Lee Sang Woo of DA. His name always pops up in facial contouring threads. Also, he often appears in transformational shows of Korea including White Swan, Let me In and even in recent program which is for men now. It's fun watching their changes in appearance. I love those shows haha. You can go to their website if you want to see some reviews of facial contouring too. Link below seems like the best review there and the girl became so pretty.http://en.daprs.com/htm/community_review_read.php?id=21037&cate=&mode=&page=2&key=&keyword=&fakeid=3
amy-vidic Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 I know that Dr. Oh Chan Hyun from Banobagi is one of the specialist in the field of Face contouring and V-line, etc. He participated in the TV show, 'Let Me In' and also he continued to help people who need their looking to be changed from a Korean TV program, 'Dae Sae Nam'. That's because my nephew chose Dr. Oh to have consultation and finally decided to have surgery from him. She went to Faceline also and actually satisfied with the consultation and how the doctor explained to her how the surgery will be done and how she should care after the surgery. The assistants over there were very kind which she liked the most. She was actually concerned about which clinic she had to choose. The price between the two had almost no difference however she decided to go with Dr. Oh because he is a specialist in this field. Anyways, she was satisfied after she saw her looking being shaped and well cured. I would love to share the pictures if you would like but I'm not sure if she would like to share.
gil_taylor Posted August 26, 2016 Author Posted August 26, 2016 Thanks for the reference very helpful! i just looked at the link and the facial contouring results looks amazing! i will search more about DA and maybe email them aswell
gil_taylor Posted August 26, 2016 Author Posted August 26, 2016 thankyou for your review, im so curious how her surgery turned out! i will check them out
bellaroo_23 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I emailed DA a few weeks ago and a girl name sky that replies to the email there is soo friendly! You can ask her any questions and reponse is really fast. There are a couple of other clinics that i emailed that werent as responsive. Thought i just let you know good luck!
amy-vidic Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 She also said that she was able to have discount by contacting one of the staffs in the clinic directly. It seems that they also give after care messages to check-up how she is doing after the surgery.
neways08 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Has somebody any information about the Izien ? They are on my list to visit > but not really much info about this clinic .
apayo Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I think DA and Regen are worth looking into if the list you provided are your only options. I got my v-line surgery done over 2 months ago at Cinderella where I thought I would need full face contouring with double jaw surgery. Dr. Hong could have sniped extra money from me, but he told me my x-rays were good and double jaw + Zygoma reduction would be a waste of money because my face didn't need it. I really recommend you looking into the doctors from your clinic list. The doctors are what makes the clinics.
neways08 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I have a question to who had the experience of ... > How long takes for a consultation ? How many clinics can be visited for consultations in a day? I could visit several clinics but my budget is limited because my English is not good enough and I need to hire a translator ( I'm Russian ) . On the hour payment will be expensive so I'm limited in time .
kathy2406 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Your English seems fine! You should take as long as you want with your consultations and if they cut you off or try to finish the consultation quick then you shouldn't have the surgery with them
kellyp111 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 consultations can take up to 30 mintues but depends on each clinic includung waiting time , it can take up to 1 hour. you can probably get 2 or 3 consultations in 1 day hope that helped
amy-vidic Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Most of the big clinics have russian speaking coordinators. Consulatation will take 30min-2 hours (fill in chat, photo, consultation with consultant, after with doctor, and finally with consultant again will talk about price). Ussually clinics give 5-20% discount from total price (all service included), and you can ask them for airport sending service. A translator for whole day will be cost about 100~200$. Somebody do this for free, but its not 'for free". Usually translaters have a contract with clinics. Anyway its comfortable when somebody by yourside, and if you will find a good experience translator he will advice you a good doctor.
neways08 Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 Thank you so much ! In Russia popular clinics , such as a Grand , Regen , Wonjin but I did my own research and made my own list and these clinics are not on my list . I agree with you and all translators that I was contacting with as I understood really work with the clinics. So I'm still in search of an independent interpreter, and I hope in the end will find someone . I understand more than I can say in English and I am afraid that it will be hard to explain what I want. Also I found this website http://www.bbbkorea.org/ , was thinking about to try them maybe . I understand they provide free telephone interpreter .
