Wow, free surgery, how lucky! What event was this and how did you find out about it? Since you are in the USA, did you do everything online and they agreed to pay for your surgery before seeing you in person? Did they cover everything including airfare, room and board?

babysnow, it's very heartening to read that your surgery is a success! I'm also looking at DA for my zygoma and they're very high on my list. Pumpkin juice is awesome and helps reduce swelling. It's very delicious too! I miss my pumpkin juice, its not common here in Singapore though  Keep us updated on your progress.

@babysnow95 wow~ I think this thread of yours is updated so fast! So you went to DA too just like my friend Megan. Both of you find DA so friendly so I guess it is now confirmed. It was a big help to my research as well. Thank you  Please keep posting your reviews for everyone! Gamsahapnida~

Thanks everyone!! I'm currently day 3 post op and very swollen! I got deswelling laser treatment and hair shampoo today at DA. ^_^v

I'll keep u guys updated! I highly recommend you come consult and meet the nice ladies here and discuss with the doctor what is best for you. Doctor Lee is very professional and keeps a natural look and your safety and individual situation in mind.

I'm able to eat porridge now, no chewing, but better than nothing! I go for another post-op in 4 days. I'm taking my medicine on time and keeping decent hydration and nutrition (it's pretty difficult with fluids only.)
The weather here is currently very nice (breezy) so I hope it stays nice and I can walk more to help speed up deswelling. I'm so glad it's normal in Korea to wear face mask haha :P

Glad to hear you are already good enough for beauty treatments  Are those included because you are the model or do they include them free? They sound v professional

What medicine do you take, paracetamol or something for swelling?

I think it's for all patients who need it ^.^? Yes they are! The shampoo really made me feel better haha.
I take 3 medicines but I didn't ask what they were oops x.x

I'm currently day 4 post op and feel great ^.^ the only bad part is sleeping up because my butt hurts!! I'm very swollen today and it's raining outside so don't know if I'll go out and walk today~
The fat grafting bruised my thigh very badly and it's sore but I think that's because I'm skinny and it was hard for them to find extra fats haha
Eating porridge easily now!! My jaw barely opens but I can fit porridge in! I'm going to buy more solid foods probably tomorrow. Thinking of what to buy... Maybe bread.. Yummy :P

I can imagine, I heard you can't wash your hair immediately after so that must be good
3 is a lot! Hopefully they help tho ^_^

Can you go out in the rain or do you have to be careful not to get water on your face? It must feel good to be outside though.

Maybe sit on the ice pack :P I read but don't know if it's true, that it's better to get FC done if you are skinny because then there is less fat on your face to sag. Lol.

It's good that you can eat solid food already  I don't know if they have mild Korean foods but you can always get bread n stuff like muffins. I was reading QiuQiu's blog earlier about what she had post surgery. Made me so hungry haha.

If you guys are meeting over there, that would be so unique I think... in another country. Good luck everyone..

Thank you!! And yes I think my last check up will be around two weeks post op which is next weekend ^.^ I'm taking arnica and bromelain. It was hard to fit pills in at first but it got easier the more I could open my mouth!
Maybe I will see u there hehe

I went to a mart and they didn't have bread wah :sad: I'm going out right now to search for bread haha cus I bought butter and jam already!! I want to walk around more but my legs are still a bit hurting ^.^;;
I currently only have bandage on my jaw. I accidentally got the chin part wet while rinsing but I don't think it was an issue. I'm not allowed to wash my face or hair yet but I can wash my body bc they put waterproof bandage on my sutures from fat graft (on my thighs.)

yeah I want to make some surgery friends!! ^.^ haha

Today is day 5 post op and the swelling is going down a lot on my upper face ! My lower face is very swollen haha :P I can eat more solid food which is awesome!! I had curry and rice blended down today. So good. the roof of my mouth hurts though bc I was too aggressive with trying to dissolve cereal in my mouth.. I need milk ^.^; I can't wait till I can enjoy pickles again hehe.
My appointment is in 2 days for outer stitch removal.

Overall so far this has been a great experience and I'm very thankful for Sky the English agent who has been answering my questions within minutes

Ok I'm going out to walk around to help swelling and to find some bread!!!
