I'm doing survey for double eyelid surgery and shortlisted few clinics

Banobagi: Non incision double eyelid +ptosis correction
ID Hospital: partial incision double eyelid +epicanthoplasty
Apgujeong YK Plastic surgery : non incision double eyelid +ptosis correction+epicanthoplasty

I received some reviews from people or read from the blogger regarding these 3 clinics.
Banobagi: natural looks, not obvious eyelid cease
ID: dramatic result, epicanthoplasty might leave scar
YK: cheapest, dramatic result, epicanthoplasty might leave scar

Anyone have double eyelid surgery with these 3 clinics?

Read a few anecdotes that epicantplasty may leave scars compared to DES.. Do u really need it.. Maybe need to think about it..

I had some clinics recommending me to do epi, but eventually I went to one that the doctor said I don't need it (saving me money too) and it turned out well too.

Ah I see, lateral canthoplasty seems to have lesser scars, I wish u the best.

I went with Pitangui, and that time it was the cheapest of all the quotes I got. Though I know reviews here are not very stellar, I thought des is a small procedure so should be fine. I did des and eyebag repositioning too.

If you're looking for natural results, the following are my shortlist of clinics who have in-house translator & doctors who can speak English:
  • Gyalumhan: Dr Ahn Tae Joo (used to be at JW) for non-incisional DES, ptosis & epicanthoplasty
  • JK: Dr Paik Hye Won (the only female doctor on my list) for partial incision DES, ptosis and minimal scarring epicanthoplasty
  • BIO: Dr Shin Yong Ho (used to be at BK) for revision cases
Can you update us on your progress and best of luck for the surgery

oooh can you please share more about gyalumhan? it seems they don't have an english website? i see they are doing a model search as well... are they known for rhinoplasty/facial contouring too? thank you so much!

Gyalumhan's English website is http://gyalum.com/. With regards to your questions about rhinoplasty/facial contouring, I have to apologise because it's outside my scope of research. I've come to know about them after looking for a doctor who specialise in double eyelid surgery & minimally invasive ptosis correction, which Dr Ahn is famous for

does model search mean whoever gets picked gets free surgery? I wonder what happens if surgery does not go well for models......do they get free revision too?

i read the blogs of few bloggers, one of them initiate want to do epi but at the end the Doctor Lee from banobagi said no need and another blogger has been advised by DR Lee that her eyes look beautiful already no need to do but she insisted to do, which made me think that Dr Lee is not only there to earn our money so i will consider on Banobagi at my top list follow by ,YK and Cinderella... ID has been removed from my list after read few bad reviews...

I had consultation with ID for my revision eye and nose surgery. I liked the clinic pretty much, but I just heard that there had some medical accidents this year.
so I went to other clinics as well and I'm going to have the procedures in 2 months at View. I'm so nervous and can't wait! I hope everythings going well
