@JessicaCorbyn
i know someone that went to DA and she said that before and after photos arnet taken and dont get posted anywhere, its as private as you want it to be.
and she also met with a girl that did the free model surgery thing there, they only took before and after photos of her to post, becasue it was part of the contract.

im pretty sure there is no need for photos to be public if you are just a paying customer, anywhere.
and they shouldnt be posting anything without your written consent

Thanks. I know the girl who did model surgery on here

Some clinics do show before & after pics tho. I guess I could not let them take my photo? But because I will be working as a newsreader in the future. I don't want my name or the details of my surgery to get public

I emailed them with my pics and a simple question about 2 weeks ago and they insisted I had to come in for consultation despite me being the foreign patient.

I also searched a little bit in older threads and saw that a member said that she had been told that Dream uses shadow doctors:amazed::sad:

Don'tknow if it's true, but from the accusations only I am not willing to risk it..

just tell them you dont want to be public, and if they do anyways you can probably sue them..lol

are you not planning to go to korea to do surgery anyways? whenyou get to korea i think you are meant to have a face to face consultation with the actual doctor for a more accurate quoting/ before the surgery
cause the email person isnt the doctor just a coordinator, which can prob only give yo a rough estimate of the quoting

Shadow doctors are a definite no!:sad:

I'm not going for months, I didn't want the full consultation obv . It was more a question about their technique than my face. They were really insistent I came in for the consultation.

You will sign a consent form stating that you agree to have your picture taken for consultation and medical history purpose. So unless you agree then it's illegal to post your pictures. I didn't take any picture but you better take yours for safety reasons. Better safe then sorry, right? I took pictures of my surgery agreement tho.
Anyway, learn from my mistake, girlie. Take lots of pictures. Maybe even ask for a copy.

Yea lol. It's annoying though, cuz some clinics (maybe not Dream) have a good safe reputation. But then they are also trying to make money too, so they do dodgy things

The only other clinic that insisted on me coming in was TL but I'm not going to visit anyway now hehe

If they can't give an opinion based on the pictures and simple question, then after care is gonna suck.. (IMHO) :P

Thanks ^^ Do you not get two copies of the consent form? That' the way we do it with contracts in Germany.

I guess its hard to enforce the consent form sometimes too. We just have to go on how trusting they seem. And I don't see why they should have my after pics??, so I will not consent to them

when you go to consults they will take photos and CT scans, also will take photos to hang on the wall during the surgery to operate as your pre cut open face reference, i don't see a way to avoid that without compromising the result... i also dont want my photos be seen because im a little known in my home country, it would really suck to be recognized... also when i think about how doctors and clinics have my photos that might leak out really concerns me, but oh well if nothing can be done then just dont think about it!

maybe i also say i dont want my after picture taken, so they dont show to patients during their consults
