loverly Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 They're somewhere here on this thread. But based on what I read, those reviews were all recent from patients 1-3 months post-op fc talking about how swollen they were still. Not exactly negative reviews imo (i can read Chinese)
calliecat Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Oh yeah that's not really negative. My friend got FC done at TL in November and she was surprised how swollen she still is as well. I think that's normal. A lot of us are just so use to looking at B/A of people 3 months post op looking less swollen that we think it'll heal quickly but we have to remember you don't see the full results until like 6 months anyway..

I sent GNG a kakao message and they quoted me 4.5 million korean won for bridge augmentation (revision is an extra charge of a mil) + tip plasty and 3 million korean won for ptosis correction. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. The consultant spoke English really well and understood my needs and concerns and what I desired and was really thorough. A lot more thorough than I expected. I scheduled myself in for a March appt. Anyone else going around that time? Q__Q
calliecat Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Figured I would post here as well, but after online consulting with GNG I'm pretty set on having my surgeries done with them. Their English consultant Hazel probably has to be the most thorough consultant I've spoke with over the last few years! She's messaged me extremely quickly and has answered questions I didn't even think to ask lol And the funny thing is I never really thought about getting rhinoplasty but their b/a photos sold me planning for next month, will keep everyone updated once I hear something back from them to finalize everything

It's a shame they don't have a lot of the stuff they have on their Korean and Chinese page on their English page Really hoping for some one to go before I go cause I would love to read up on some reviews aside from the other few I have read
calliecat Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 I still have a few things to finalize but I've set a solid time frame-early March-I will most like be flying to Korea the 6th or 7th of March. February was booked and this gives me more time for planning anyway But I'll let you guys know about my experience with GNG because you're right, a lot of people on here are starting to consult with them but only 1 or 2 have actually said how it all went and how it turned out. Feel free to PM me anytime in March with any questions. I'll probably update again the day I land in Korea since I believe that's also the day my consultation will be (since Korea is 14 ish hours a head of where I'm from) lol

However, I am still waiting to see more reviews. Anyone knows how to find information regarding their doc? it is sadly missing on their English page.

I send a mail at gng for quote after saw your post because I didn't knew about this clinic too much clinic. guys do you now if the clinic is in the epicanthal fold too because I search a very pro surgeon for this surgery and rhinoplasty.
