teeteetee Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Hi everyone! It's me again, this time asking about lipo instead of rhino haha. Has anyone had experience with double-chin/jawline/jowl liposuction? I've looked into one clinic that specializes in it and their quoted price was much lower than I expected. I'm just wondering if there are a lot of risks with running lipo so close to the neck. I'm in my 20s within the healthy BMI for my height, but I've always had a double chin. In my side profile when I look up, it kind of looks like a slope from my chin to my neck (?). I'm not quite sure how to explain. Basically I would like my jawline to be seen like in the attached picture. It's an upside down L from under her chin to her neckline which is what I want, whereas mine looks more of like a J. Does anyone have any thoughts on chin/face lipo? I'd like to make my face appear smaller without shaving my jaw or cheekbones.
carlabell Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 i dunno about lipo on your face but i have asked a few clinics about this double chin problem ive emailed daprs and View and a few other places about it i also have double chin problems and i dont wanna cut my bone.. daprs said they have a procedure called aculift or something that helps remove fat and lift, tightens the skin from under the chin i think its meant to help to create vline as well without surgery. (im not sure about non surgical cheekbone though) it sounds pretty good to me alot of benefits in one procedure! try researching about that maybe?
junjun00 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Yeah, Accu lift is for removing fat under chin. its effective and less risky than other surgery. Accu machine uses little cannula to suck the fat out and give little lift effect by stimulating the tissue. Some clinics, they don't even make any stitches because the incision area is very tiny.

I assumed liposuction greatly reduces the chances of fat coming back to the area since fat cells are taken out. Hopefully that's the case and I manage my weight well after the procedure if I decide to do it!

I'm interested in this procedure as well and planning to get it done this November If your problem is caused by mainly fat like me then some kind of laser-assisted lipo will probably have a good effect! I think it's pretty hard to gain back that fat in the face...not sure about other areas of lipo. Also if there's tightening I feel like it wouldn't be permanent, if anything removing a lot of fat may cause a tiny bit of sagging?? but for me that's still better than having the double chin... For chubby cheeks/v-line without bone cutting some people have had good results with acculift + buccal fat removal but it's a bit riskier so I'm planning to get just the acculift first and if i really want further reduction I might consider buccal. I didn't know there was a clinic that specialized in facial lipo? Would you mind sharing the clinic/your quote here or via PM? Pretty much every single clinic I've looked into offers some kind of facial lipo, most of my quotes have been in the range of 2-4mil but I know people who have gotten it done for under 2mil and had great results!

I also didn't want to have a bone surgery. (That was so scary to me.) Whenever I showed pictures to the consultant, they said I might not need to have bone surgery because it seemed that I had a lot of fat. So I decided to have face liposuction and I like the result! I had it at Fresh. They have English website.
