When I decided to get double eyelid surgery, I studied it zealously. I really didn’t want ugly outcome. I had really small eyes as you can see my before picture. And my Mongolian fold makes my eyes look stuffy. I was under so much stress whenever I had eye make-up. Although I drew eyeliner thickly, it hid under my puffy eyes… Actually, my friends recommended double eyelid surgery few years ago but I was just afraid of surgery. As I have reached the age when I should get married… I thought I need double eyelid surgery. That’s why I decided to get the surgery…! First, I asked price inquiry to several clinics. Item, DA, ID, View, Regen, etc,,, Although I visited to just 3 clinics, I had online consultation to 8~9 clinics. Item gave me the lowest price. (I don’t wanna write down the price here..) ID and View gave me similar price. Anyways, all of clinics are negotiable the price. To me, not only price but also surgical experiences are all important because I really don’t want revision surgery in the future…. The order of lowest price given to me is Item, Regen, DA, View, ID… Finally, I visited Item, ID and View. The reason I went to Item is that their price is the most cheapest. I had consultation with Dr.Lee of Item. He recommended incisional method with ptosis correction. He doesn’t recommend lower canthoplasty. I had short consultation with doctor and consultant both.. Anyways, the price was still cheap. Id is really huge as I thought. The plastic surgery clinic around id hospital looks all luxury and huge. I met Dr.Khwon(?).. Actually I would like to meet head doctor of ID but he is only bone surgery specialist. Dr.Khwon recommended me incisional method with ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty. Actually, those surgical procedure is what I expected. I like their doctor and staff as well. But I have read a lot of negative rumor of id. Probably Id must have a lot of rumor as much as they are famous in abroad as well as Korea. The last one that I visited was View. I have read some review about View at this forum. I wanted to meet Dr.Lee since I read forumers’ experiences about Dr. Lee. I already told what I want to meet Dr. Lee when I had on-line consultation. But, after consultation with consultant, she recommended to meet Dr.Yun. I just fellow her recommendation since I didn’t see the review that someone had double eyelid surgery from Dr. Lee. Dr. Yun recommended incisional method with ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty same with ID. View gave me reasonable price more than Id and their staff is quite kind. I didn’t want to visit a lot of clinics because that should make me confused to decide good clinic. I decided to get surgery in View. I had surgery next day. The English-speaking staff explained precaution both before and after surgery. On the day I dreamed of!! Dr. Yun designed my crease lines. I could be confident my surgical method before surgery again. I asked him I don’t want excessive epicanthoplasty. Actually he can speak in English so that I could explain what I want easily. Of course, I felf painful after surgery. The ocular muscle was felt hard whenever I opened and closed my eyes. I had much more swelling in 2~4 days. I made me down whenever I saw the mirror. I visited the clinic everyday to get swelling care. I was exposed to the laser. And the staff applied bruise cream. I did hard ice pack everyday…. And I walked outside as much as I can. My doctor said selfcare is also important. After long period of waiting… I could get nice double eyelid finally! I think you guys just wanna see my before and after pictures.. HAHA. I think there is no need to write down here anymore about my experience. I wanna show my present appearance here J These pictures were taken before surgery, after 2 weeks and after a month. I never regret my surgery experience…. I really like and love it!
