jiaxo Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Has anyone had any experience with either procedure? If so, I'd love to hear about it. I am also looking for some clinics in Korea (or others in Asia) that specialize in this but it's difficult to find any, let alone some B&A pictures. If anyone has some clinic recommendations do let me know. I have a fairly slim face but with a bit of baby fat on my cheeks which I would like to get rid of. Also I'm quite young so still debating on whether this fat will disappear with time but I feel my face shape hasn't changed at all in the past five years...
perfect_me Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 forehead reduction? everyone is augmenting i went to consults in thailand my friend's mom was saying her face has no fat now as she age, i don't think it's good to remove buccal fat, lift though is a good option i think
benuette Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 In Korea it's more about hair transplants or making the forehead rounder and "filled looking) rather than hair advancement/forehead lowering For ex:http://m.blog.naver.com/moa38/30178741153 (I'm guessing by forehead reduction you're referring to hair advancement/hairline lowering). There're some reviews on RealSelf but mostly by Americans. Plus the price range is very wide in the US, it depends on if they used a tissue expanded or not. I think with tissue expander (which helps to lower the forehead significantly 5-10 cm sometimes) the price range goes up to 15-25k USD. Without (tissue expander) being around 6-10k USD. I think you should consider lowering the hairline by having a hair transplant rather than forehead reduction (the forehead lowering is more invasive and can lead to extreme hair loss/shedding if not done extremely well, plus it's more expensive compared to hair transplants
p-joann14 Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 I had accusculpt for my double chin. I did it at Jewelry but i dont know if the procedure wasnt for me or if the hospital did it poorly cause my chin slightly has a numbing sensation even until now. i never relaly went back about it cause it is very minor and i hardly notice it if i dont think about it. but i think thats so weird cause its only buccal fat removal. not even bone surgery or anything. so why would i still be a bit numb? i guess it happens but they dont relaly tell you. The result wasnt all that spectacular either ...
lovelypeach Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Since when do you feel numb? Acculift doesn't work for everyone, I know 2 girls that got acculift but almost nothing has changedn because they actually didn't need acculift But in your case I don't know, you shouldn't feel numb after some time What they do when they remove buccal fat is that they only do incision inside your mouth and remove the fat pads... I don't know how much it costs separately, as a few clinics offer buccal fat removal for free when you have FC surgery
mgmog Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Buccal fat removal is really an easy procedure and usually done with face contouring surgery because they have to make an incision inside your mouth anyways already. It's more just like "by the way" kind of procedure. I shouldn't cost much and usually is part of FC surgery already.
lovelypeach Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 Hopefully it's free because they do it at the same time in my country it's pretty expensive though as they don't even really do FC as much as they do in Korea But I think it's still possible to get the buccal fat out without getting any surgery if you ask
