lucykwa1988 Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Hello ladies, I'm planning on getting my eyes on at MVP and facial contouring at View. But it seems like such a hassle to be hoping from one clinic to the next during surgery. I really want my eyes done at MVP, but I have no idea how good they are with Facial contouring (ideally I want to stick with one clinic). What are you thoughts on this? MVP pricing seems better too. But View has so many good reviews on facial contouring-- I'm not keen on the before and after on their double-eyelid surgery though. Thank you.
lovelypeach Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 Hi lucykwa1988! I'm planning to get facial contouring as well. At first I was hesitating between DA, BB and View. But since I have no idea if BB does the "undereye fat repositioning" procedure, I think I'd go for DA or View. And yes View has a lot of good reviews especially for the v-line surgery/natural v-line surgery!! I wish there could be more reviews on FC for View haha Sorry I have no idea about MVP I didn't even considered this clinic :/ When are you planning to go to Korea?
lucykwa1988 Posted December 4, 2016 Author Posted December 4, 2016 Hi Peach, I was also going to DA, but they never responded to my emails. And I've read really bad review from them so they're definitely off my list! I'm planning on going on the 1st of March since I heard it was less busy during that time. Have you contacted View regarding your facial contouring yet?
lovelypeach Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 I'm waiting for replies for both Oh really? Can you link where you found bad reviews about DA? I've only heard good things about them
yasminn_n Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Not all clinics have 100% success rate but with more well known clinics, more people will go therefore there will be a greater number of people complaining. Not defending DA or anything but that's just how statistics go lol, but obviously if 2 people go to a small place and 20 people go to a bigger place, there's a higher chance that more people will speak up and say something about the bigger place, good or bad. Personally the results and reviews I've seen from View for FC are my favourite by far, I also know of someone who did FC at April31, but she's only a couple weeks post op so can't really say too much yet, but so far her results look great and natural
lovelypeach Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 You're totally right yasminn! You can't be a 100% sure. I'm just going to pray and freak out haha Also think it depends on the type of surgery, I've never heard about cases of failures about FC in DA. Looks like clinics are speaclized in a specific procedure Once she recovers, could she share her experience about April31? Thanks a lot
maliboo Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 thanks yasmin, i'll look into view as well and yeah i second @lovelypeach, once your friend's a few more weeks into her recovery, could you share anything you know about her experience at April 31?
lucykwa1988 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 Yes, I'll be visiting them for sure around the 1st of March. Will update you guys on this. So hopefully I'll have my FC done at view and my eyes done at MVP.
lucykwa1988 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 Hi, Sorry for the late reply, but I'll be landing on March the 1st When are you going?
lovelypeach Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 Oh no don't worry it's okay I still haven't made any decision yet, I may go in late December/late January/February/September lol
momo94 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I am interested in View as well, tbh I found the B&A on their website to be not bad, but not great either. I contacted them to ask about what surgeries they recommended I do and the prices and I was shocked by how many procedures they recommended. I usually get recommended to do V-Line surgery, zygoma reduction + rhino by other clinics. Below is what View recommended I do, Angular mandible reduction + Genioplasty + Zygoma reduction +Thread lifting + Full face fat graft The total surgery price is 26million korea won but the consultant can take 20% off. And if I send a 30% deposit of 5.5mil, they can provide an extra 10% discount, so final price is 18mil. I showed them pictures of lilymaymac from insta for my ideal faceshape, she has a pretty defined jawline. So, I am a bit surprised they said to do angular mandible reduction when I don't even have a square face to begin with. I've never been suggested to do a full face fat graft, maybe someone can shed some light here but I don't really see the point of a it when I don't have a sunken face. She actually also suggested I do acculift to get rid of excess fat in my cheeks and jawline, again what is the point of removing the fat and then doing a full face fat graft? Or am i missing something? Rhinoplasty isn't even included in the price I was quoted so I am a bit apprehensive going to them if the prices are this high and if they think I should have so many procedures.
maliboo Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 @momo94 it doesn't sound that over the top to me, v-line usually consists of jaw surgery + chin surgery (genioplasty). you might not have a square jaw but if you're interested in vline surgery they would have to do mandible reduction. if i'm right, thread lifting or acculift would be to help with the sagging of skin after you've shaved off bone, especially if u do zygoma reduction, not so much removing fat.. the price seems crazy though. vline surgery should be 10-1r2 million won, there's no way acculift + fat grafting is another 6-8 million won...... also if you look on view's korean website they are having a promotion event where the special price for vline seems to be 9 million. but i can't read korean so not 100% sure
momo94 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 I think the consultant was telling me to do acculift and threadlift tho, is that common? I'm going to Korea during peak season in January, that would probably contribute to the high prices too I suppose I just felt it was over the top because I was never suggested to do it before this (fat graft, threadlift and acculift) Sigh the price is crazy, I'll have to bargain it right down otherwise it's wayyy too much.
lovelypeach Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Gosh it's expensive, even the 30% deposit is too much Do you know if they give taxe refund? I saw them on the list of clinics which give VAT refund but sometimes clinics tell you they don't for some reason Yeah it's weird lol I have no idea what your face looks like but I'm pretty sure you don't need all of them
momo94 Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 No sorry, I'm not sure if they do tax refund. I probably should find out tho, will update you when I do! I hope I don't need that many, I'll see what the general consensus is when I have my consultations with other clinics.
