For the consultants who are very skilled at negociation, they would tell you it's already included in the overall price lol
The difference between how much locals pay and how much foreigners pay is crazy
Thanks for sharing, please let us know when you do!

Hey Maliboo,

I got quoted around that price too. And they did recommend a similar procedure. To be honest, most clinics have quoted me around 18-10 million. So in my head I thought that was standard

Am I missing something? I feel so ripped off. What clinics would you recommend for the price around 10-12 million?

That sounds reasonable, considering the sag you may experience after the op. They recommend fat graft to everyone to look younger. For me, View recommended the usual mandible reduction, genioplasty, rhinoplasty, zygoma, fat graft, Acculift, and....paranasal implant and submalar implant. LOL.

In the end I only took the mandible, genio and rhino. I kinda regretted not doing the zygoma at the same time to take advantage of the package price. But my results now (6 months post-op) shows that I do not need Acculift, fat graft, paranasal or even submalar. They can only blame it on Dr Lee, who did the surgery so good that there is no noticeable sagging. And the rhinoplasty somehow erased my existing paranasal lines.

They requested for a 20% deposit, which I find ridiculous, considering the fact that I told them I will only decide on the final procedures after consultation with the doc. So what price did they calculate the 20% from? They just took the final undiscounted price from the procedures which I confirm will be doing (V-line and rhino). It's a messy and not very well structured way of calculating deposit.

During consultation, they will push you lots and lots of procedures, but ultimately it's up to you to decide on the final procedures. My doctor, Dr Lee is not pushy at all. He's a joy to work with. Very friendly, very professional.

For those who are wondering if they offer tax refund, I can confirm that they do. When making the final payment, just bring your passport and they will hand you the tax refund slip and receipt to claim at the airport.

@momo94 If you wish to get rid of excess fats in cheeks and jawline, do buccal fat removal.

Oh wow, yeah that's the hard part tho isn't it? When they recommend a lot of things and you gotta figure out which one you actually really need so you don't have to come back to do it again.

The thing about fat graft is that it gets reabsorbed into the body and will prob last a max 2 years if you're lucky, am I right? I don't want to keep on going to have to top it up.

Oh that's great that you didn't need all those extra procedures!! I hope that's the case down the line with me. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you ended up paying? You can PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting it here.

My guess is they assumed you wanted the doll forehead look they want to give everyone. Most everyone has to return a few months later for a top up which is normally included in the price, so that's 2 trips. I would definitely decline fat graft if you know you don't need it. You have posted a pic but I wouldn't remove fat from your face either as that volume will go away itself as you get older.

I actually forgot exactly how much I paid in the end. I wasn't too concerned about the cost as long as it's reasonable. All I remember was the approx. 20% discount and the tax refund which made it well within my budget.

I would definitely decline the fat graft no matter what they tell you. The fats will disappear eventually depending on your metabolism. I'm one who has very high metabolism and I work out quite a bit, so had I done the FG, it would most certainly be all gone by now. If you desire a "dolly forehead", I would recommend forehead implant, which is permanent and looks amazingly natural and pretty. My friend did hers in Thailand and it's been 3 years and her forehead still looks lovely.

@momo94 The trick is to prioritize the procedures, starting with the most important down to the least important (the ones you can do without). Place the costs next to the procedures and as you go down the list, stop when you have hit your budget. Yes you want to look more beautiful but you don't want to be a beautiful bankrupt right? For me, I rank V-line, rhino and zygoma at the top and anything more is out of my budget. But the fear of sagging and pain made me decide against doing the zygoma at the same time, so now I'm looking at March next year to do it.

Hey Oreo,

Looks like we could be going around the same time. I'm planning to go in March too!

Is there a risk of your face sagging after a zygoma reduction? If so, what should one do to prevent it from happening?
I am actually a lurker, but your post caught my attention so I made an account to get to know more about this ''side-effect''.

The doctor's skill has to be top notch in order for sagging to not occur at all. DAPRS's website says "Only one time cheek reduction with no possibility of saggy cheek" and "Accurate cheekbone surgery and fixation with no non-union or saggy cheek.". I find that claim dubious so I kakao DA and they told me sagging after zygoma reduction is a real possibility but it depends on the doctor's skill. WTF. So they basically admitted their own BS, which is good because any clinic which insist that there is no sagging after zygoma reduction should immediately raise the red flag.

This is why I'm still undecided whether or not to do the zygoma, because if sagging do occur, you'll age 20 years. Of course you can do threadlifting or Acculift to reduce sagging but why even go through that trouble? Threadlifting is not permament anyway.

Hi, I was wondering if its possible to do FC and eyes at separate clinics on the same trip. Anyone who have done anything similar, could you share some advice? Thanks in advance (:

Hey!

I haven't done it yet, but I'm planning to do facial contouring and rhino at one clinic, and eyes at another. I think it's definitely possible with eyes, as eye surgery isn't as invasive as rhinoplasty or breast augmentation. But you do have to stay iin Seoul for at least around 3 weeks.

Most of the clinics will recommend you more procedures than what you ask and thats their job.
as long as you dont get trapped, there will be no problem and I dont think there is no reason you are upset about.
And also as far as my experience, view suggested extra procedures but anyway I'm happy with my result now

thanks, yes i agree with you! how long in between should i schedule any eyes or fc surgery apart. i was thinking 3 days if possible? not sure of your thoughts (:

View Clinic, along with pretty much every other clinic in Seoul will suggest plenty of extra procedures. Don't blame them, it's their job to push these procedures. It doesn't mean they're unethical or desperate.

@kittymon Try one week in between procedures. 3 days might be a bit rushed.

by the way, i emailed View last week and they quoted 4 million for genioplasty and 4.5 million for mandible reduction (so 9.5 total for v line) ... much lower than what @momo94 and @lucykwa1988 said earlier i was very surprised :o

checked and they said this was the original and not promotional price, so i can maybe ask for further discount in person? it seems really good i am definitely going to consult with them
