jojoyes Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 As everyone knows, clinics have their specialties and their weak points. Most are pretty good at rhino and eyes and not so good at facial contouring or the other way round. But I'm planning on doing all of those surgeries in one trip. I want to go to 2 different clinics: one for facial contouring, and one for the eyes and nose. I absolutely have to do it in one trip as I don't feel like explaining to my fellow university students why I suddenly look so different. (I want to do it before I go to university) (and I don't feel like dealing with the swelling twice) Is it OK to go to 2 different clinics in one trip for PS? Or is it advised against? If I have to do it in one trip, what would you recommend: one clinic or 2 different clinics for full face? I've rarely seen someone talk about this as people usually don't do this much and when they do they just go to one clinic. I hope you guys can give me some enlightment.
enf782 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Depends on 1) how long you'll be staying in the country 2) expected recovery time 3) of course, picking the right surgeon/clinic(s) IS extremely important If you're staying for 1-2 weeks, then I dont think that would be enough time to hop from one place to another considering 1) Min recovery time might be 1-2 weeks... so best not to do much traveling before then 2) you'll be swollen, groggy, and generally not feeling well But if you're staying for, let's say, a month... then it should be far less of a problem. Edit: Also consider the distance and ease of access between the two clinics...
insecur1ties Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Would like to know about this too. Has anyone do their surgeries at different clinics, one trip?
holly-huynh Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Doesn't sound like a good idea... especially if they are both facial procedures. It takes months for swelling to completely subside so the second clinic would have to operate on a swollen face, but I highly doubt they would agree to operate on you so soon.
summerlux Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Huge no...Facial contour ps is already a stressful surgery on its own, that's too much for one trip if you include nose + eyes. It's a lot better if you get either one of those done first, take time to heal before you move to the next one. That way your doctor can also tell what they need to do so that your features would be in line with each other. Perhaps postpone your uni plans for half a year or so
jojoyes Posted April 4, 2017 Author Posted April 4, 2017 Guys, you don't need to reply anymore lol. I posted this 5 months ago. I now know that I'm gonna consult with a lot of clinics and then just choose 1 to do all of the surgeries with. I'm not gonna get surgery at different clinics. Btw, I'm considering the following clinics: - DAPRS - VIEW - TLPS - Cookie What do you guys think about these clinics?
sweetpotato1996 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 I am thinking of getting multiple procedures too, I want: mandible and masseter muscle reduction, zygoma reduction, alarplasty, deviated nose correction, droopy tip correction, wide nose correction, philtrum shortening, larger eyes, and maybe some skin treatments. But I will have to wait a while, as I need to save enough money. I don't think I could afford splitting up the procedures, it would probably be cheaper to do everything together at the same clinic. May I ask, how did you manage to save enough money for all these procedures? I need some inspiration as I still have a lot to earn (I only have $4000 now).
lemon90 Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Hey Jojoyes. I have been to DAPRS, and VIEW, and here is my opinion on them: -DAPRS: Really famous for facial contouring surgery. Dr.Lee who is the director of the clinic is very famous. The overall atmosphere of the clinic is good, wide and luxurious. English coordinators were nice and staff seemed very professional. I liked their before & after photos for facial contouring. Would highly recommend DAPRS. -VIEW: Also very good. The doctor was really nice during consultations. I had a lot of questions to ask and he was very patient with me and didn't seem to be bothered about answering all my questions. The staff were very nice and professional, and they take your photo before the consultation which was different from other clinics. I am not sure about TLPS and Cookie? (never heard of that clinic before) but I did go on TLPS website and they seem pretty professional to me. But I think its best to actually visit each clinic and meet with the doctor and see for yourself. Hope my short review helps
kaylavvv Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Thank you for sharing There are many bad reviews about DAPRS, is it the same of DA Plastic Surgery, right? Which doctor did you see at View?
kpsa Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Interesting! I agree that the benefit of doing all surgeries at one clinic avoids any logistical inconveniences and also avoids you having to go under GA more than once, which is certainly preferable. But from what I see in my research many disagree on what is best on this topic. Ideally I guess is to do each procedure at a specialist doctor, who are not necessarily all in one clinic. Anyway remains an interesting and difficult topic.
kaylavvv Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Hi jojopyes I chose one of your list and put deposit. I'll share my experience with you! I will do two surgeries at one clinic
krisven Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Hello I’m pretty much doing the same surgery as yours what’s your Kakao ? My Kakao is kristinelleee
sweetpotato1996 Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Actually, I have never used Kakao before! But I will set up an account soon! I will let you know when I do, I just haven't had time lately.
