itsangie123 Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 I'm day post 35! I'm actually 70% satisfied! My profile looks very straight and natural (very happy with my profile now)! The only thing is my nasal tip it's still bulbous but I know it'll deswell as time passes! Which I'm excited about. I had a lot of mixed emotions during post op week 3-4 since I healed slower than the average person. During those weeks my nose tip became more bulbous than my pre-op nose. I also developed some acne cyst on my nose but cured it right away (fortunately to my discovery of this magic cream)!. So that could've swell up my nose more. I'm remaining positive and believing it'll get better. I also feel more confident without makeup since my nose is more proportionate to my face. If you're getting rhinoplasty or at the post operation phase, remember to stay stress free! The days I kept stressing and obsessing over my nose, my nose swell up more due to the mental stress. So stay positive and you have to believe it'll get better within time for a faster recovery!
itsangie123 Posted February 24, 2017 Author Posted February 24, 2017 Hello update! I'm 5 weeks and half post-operation. I'm 85-90% happy (since its probably still 15% swollen)! It took me 5 weeks and half to see a significant change in my nasal tip! It's definitely not as bulbous as my pre-operation!! I healed slower than the average person. Wow week 3-5 was the most difficult recovery for my nasal tip. It was extremely swollen those days but now its finally deswelling to the point where I don't even pay attention to my nose anymore. I'm very grateful for April 31. Good luck on your rhinoplasty! I would definitely recommend April 31 for a natural result that is dramatic enough to be satisfied. Remember to stay patient!! The most difficult part of rhinoplasty is the recovery!! In my opinion the whole month after your surgery will be more stressful than the few days right after you get your surgery.
featheric Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hey Angie! What great news! I am delighted to hear that you are finally there, happy and satisfied with your nose. ^ ^ Thanks for updating us. Your update has come in timely for me, I am so looking foward to my consultation in early March! Heal well and splendidly for that further 10-15% satisfaction!! =D
biggiesmalls Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hi Angie - really glad you're liking your results!! I have a consultation scheduled with April31 as well. I want to schedule a surgery date but I would need to put down a deposit so I'm a little hesitant. Just wondering if you places a deposit or was lucky enough to have a slot open. Thanks!
sei67 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Glad to hear that it went well Would you mind sharing pictures?
itsangie123 Posted February 25, 2017 Author Posted February 25, 2017 Hi I was fortunate enough to go during January. Certain months and seasons are more likely to be busy. I didn't put any deposit since I went during a low season and had a slot open
biggiesmalls Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Thank you for your response! Do you mind showing me some before and after photos? Would really love to see!
granges Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Does anyone know where the chinese plastic surgery forum is ? or know a group on kakoatalk where some chinee people are who are intersted in or have been to korea for plastic surgery? They may have more inside information on the best clinics in korea, since so many of them go to korea
dylanp Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 This was the one I used: http://www.soyoung.com/ It's super useful if you can read Chinese, it has filters by type of operations and you can look at different hospitals / doctors and there's actually a lot of reviews on them.
itsangie123 Posted March 29, 2017 Author Posted March 29, 2017 I'm updating because I thought I should let you guys know. I'm 10 weeks post op now and my tip is still swollen.. Not as refined as my cast removal and the tip dropped alot.. My nose is very sensitive to Caffeine, salty foods, and exercising. The tip will swell up for 1-2 weeks if I drink coffee or go to the gym. Honestly the tip looks the same as my pre-operation... I'm still hoping it'll get better the next 4 months.
k-junkie Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 @itsangie123 Sending you lots of positivity and healing tots for a refined and pretty nose + tip. Go girl!!!!
