Hi, just wondering whether anyone has suffered from any side effects from fat graft? I have heard people complaining that fat graft can cause skin over stretched and sagging later on?

I've done it twice and I wouldn't say there's been any sagging. My complaint is that the fats don't last!

Thank you heartbeep! Which clinic did you have your fat graft done at?

Also I have heard the fat survival rate from PRP fat graft and Stem Cell fat graft is higher. I am not sure if it is true or not but they are certainly more expensive than the normal fat graft. Also there is micro/nono fat graft as well? so many different options! I have no idea which one to go for.

I did mine at BK the first two times. This was with stem cell too; yet the fats did not last! I'm gonna do it again on 20 July - this time with Dr Seul at JW. I'm really hoping third time's the charm haha. I've not heard of micro/nano grafts! I will ask Dr Seul during my consultation

How much did you pay for fg at BK and soon at JW? A friend did hers at Item (first fg + 1 topup) and is pretty happy with results. Hope all goes well this trip!!!!

Thanks K Junkie! I was very happy with my results initially too! But the fats all gradually disappeared. And this was with stem cells too

I paid about 4 million won at BK. As for JW, they're quoting me 4.5 million to 4.9 million won. But now I'm considering Fresh too!

Wow that's pricey! Odd that none of the stem cell fg lasted. Did you find that skin quality improved with each stem cell fg?

Research I read online indicated that generally up to 65% of fg may be absorbed over time and 35% or what you retain after one year can last for years. I am 46.8kg and have high metabolic rate, so I hope fg works to at least refresh my face. And maybe reduce pore size and fine fine lines hehe.

Yeah the grafts improved my skin - for a while! Once the fats disappeared, so did the improvement of my skin. I hv pretty much the same complaints as you- pores the size of craters, fine lines and redness. I'm also really scrawny with a high metabolism, which may explain why fat grafts don't seem to work for me. Ah well third time's the charm maybe?!

I went to Fresh last Saturday for consultation and I like them. Interpreter helped me from the beginning 'till the end (what a lovely girl!) and all of the staffs were very kind except for the head manager. Her unfriendly demeanor made me feel uncomfortable and she spoke like very angry. However, Dr Hong and he was vary kind and answered all my questions. He recommended me facial fat grafting, thread lift and Ulthera? and flank for donor site. I asked him about survival rate and whether I'm fit for going under cosmetic surgery in my age (I'm 40's) but he assured me that he will chose the best fat cells and will do anything to raise my survival rate. The clinic looks smaller compare to big major PS clinics in Korea but I could see lots of locals and Chinese. Idk it was Saturday or not, the clinic was crazily busy. Avoid Saturday! My friend did her fat grafting at there and the result was good so I'm gonna have one more consultation and will decide my surgery.

Thanks for the review. Who else are you consulting with for FG? Have you already made up your mind to get it done at Fresh?

Yes, pls share more of your fg & thread lift experiences. How much did Fresh quote for fg and threadlift? Was it regular or with prp fg? How does the effects of thread lift and ulthera compare, which will you likely go for?

i just did fg (regular) last Saturday. Shall wait to see my results in 3 months, and then determine if I need thread lifting like v-loc or mesh-loc. I'm around your age too
