pokii Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Hi All I want to get a few surgeries done in Korea but although my eyes will be easy to fix IDK about my hairline. I know hair transplant is common there but was wondering if anyone knows if hairline LOWERING is done in Korea? This is where they pull your hairline down instead of transplanting it. Thank you so much in advance
kaliyah Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Oh I've considered doing this too! But I'm worried about scar from the forehead lowering.
pokii Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 I understand your worry as I had this as well, I did a lot of research and apparently its really rare for your hairline scar to show and when it does its easy to treat. I also know that silicone patches are commonly used by people who have surgery/C-sections etc. are commonly used to prevent scarring during the healing process with high levels of success. Initially I was considering a hair transplant, but I don't have any balding and my hairline is round already, I'd just like it to be a bit lower so I think a hair transplant may be going overboard. I think its important to weigh the pros and cons too, if you want to fix some kind of hairline pattern (eg peaks) then I read transplanting is more successfull as simply lowering the hairline can look too artificial.
