notohate Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 Hello there. I just had my rhinoplasty with April 31 last month. I'm exactly one month post op now. Initially, I did some research and come down to 3 clinics in South Korea. Believe it or not, April 31 just came up last when I came across with a you tube video of some german surgeon greeting Dr. Kim to whom he swear as one of the expert in recent development in rhinoplasty. So to make the story short I contacted them through email. They are prompt in replying my email. Henry was the one who assisted me through it all. However, I wasn't that convince yet, since I want to see and speak personally with Dr. Kim. I want to see for myself if they are not of those clinics who makes the same "signature nose" to all their patient, or just some "factory" or "mass production" clinics or to say- money maker clinics. I booked my appointment overseas. I came for the consultation. So, like everyone else here who came to April 31, same process. Brian greeted me, then Henry came too. I had my 3D CT scan and waited for Dr. Kim for consult. When I saw him, I had that good feeling of him being a professional surgeon. I'm working in hospital, so I can say I knew the medical terms he was saying and did my research about his technique so we did not need so much time in discussing. I am really pleased that we both agree that "natural" looking nose is best, for a harmonious face. The downside of the whole experience was that I was not given the chance for discount since I only opted for one surgery....and although generally the whole process for me, although I was alone, was pain free except for the IV cannulation ( I was pricked 3X)...huhu.... I did not like that the nurses don't do much cleaning when changing the plasters/dressing. Good thing I know how to clean my own surgical wound and change plaster. Henry became like my friend in rescue to translate for nurses during the post op process, since they are genuinely good, fast, however, not so warm in my experience. The day my plaster was removed, I did not like my nose right away overall. Tho, I liked the side view, in front view, I look like Avatar. Henry advise me to be patient. I flew from seoul on my 12th day post op, without any discomfort or pain. I thought of, If I decided early and really booked my surgery on them, I could have enjoyed the full service of transport from and to the airport. I joined work on my 3rd week post op. Not everyone notice right away anything on my face except for those closest to me and the ones who always gets the "recent news". Anyways, the who cares.....Listening to insecure people will not do good for your mental health. I am getting excited every time passes by to see the changes in my nose.
james129 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 not to sound rude or anything, but your nose kinda looks the same... The side view has an improvement, but the front view looks exactly identical almost. I was considering April 31 for nose, but 6.6k for a near identical replication? You must be F****king kidding me. It's like Jk clinic charging 15k for rhino. At least they have JK in their name, but seriously come on.. If you wanted natural results and are happy I guess it's ok, but after seeing this I'm definitely not spending my money here.
hotdog420 Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 If that's the result they want that's what they're going to pay for lol. Also 6.6k might seem like a lot to you but maybe not to someone else. You're free to think whatever you want, but there's just a lot behind why someone decides to pay a certain price for what they want and I'm not sure why that seems so incredulous to you.
rockisbae Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 Chill. That was probably halfway through my recovery, I'm VERY happy with the result at this point, my tip is super projected and well shaped. I have nothing but good to speak of April31. Aside from the post-op ****.
eurasianbeauty Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Your nose looks COMPLETELY different from every angle. Thank you for telling what happened with Brian.
jinblob23 Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I understand what you mean. I did revision with April 31. Brian was super nice in the beginning and thats how i decide to do my revisions with April31. When the result is ****, i requested to talk to Brian but he went MIA. I talked to the other consultsnt, I requested to talk to Brian, at first they say he is on holiday, then after 3 months when i looked for him again they said brian has family problem. Then i asked them few months later, they said he is sick O.o i am like what???.... thats so dodgy. And now I am just hanging here crying :,(. Do your research well guys
chanelsaint Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 What did you have done at April 31? and are you ok now? Did they offer to revise the work? xx
