I had facial fat grafting 2 years ago on my forehead at id hospital But it has retained too much and it changed the shape of my face. I look like an ET so I would like this flattened out. Can it be romoved? anyone here has bad experience like this?

Wow I would love to have that ''side effect'', even though I know what you mean. Anyways, some people suggest going to saunas, losing some weight, exercising, maybe face massages as well. I rub my face vigorously when I exfoliate in the tub and I have noticed further fat loss because of it, even in the forehead. Also fraxel laser might help, or radiofrequency treatments only there where you want to lose the fat. I had them both done and they resulted in severe and unwanted fat loss, because I was not a good candidate, but for your case these side effects might help alleviate your problems. If you have thin skin some fat will definately melt from laser or rf, but only do them where you need to, or else you might end up losing your precious fat from the places you need it:sad:

For the forehead I don't know if you could use fat melting injections or lipo lasers, I havent seen anybody doing it yet, because the et look is desired I guess.

Do you have any before and after photos? I am interested in augmenting my forehead.

Also, did you contact id? Did they offer a solution to your problem?

Hey, how many times did you have fat grafting? I heard forehead is hard to get rid of fat once it's settled... Try to have strong pressed massage to reduce the volume..

I think lipo is not possible because people may have not enough fat to lipo on forehead.
So, fat melting injection would be the best in this situation.
I wish you will get better soon....

I heard that already injected fat cannot be removed.. have you contacted them? It would be much better to contact id and let them know your situation

oh,.. try with High frequency treatment at the first. I heard that it helps to melt down fat. If you still have it after the treatment, plz go to experienced practitioner.

as they put the fat on your forehead, you can simply think the liposuction would help.
yes, it might be, but the skin on the area is thin so it is hard to take the fat away.
I think you should talk with the doctor for a possibility.
I hoop it goes well!

I agree with 'positive0222'.
You have to know this first. Sometimes the enforcement of an impractical plan makes uneven or lumpy skin result.

Physically suctioning out the fat can cause issues. One reason being you cannot correctly identify exactly where is the grafted fat and where is your natural fat. It can be a long term plus minus situation where:

1st attempt - suck it out and too much gone, left with dents and flatness
2nd attempt - put more fat in to even it out but ends up lumpy again
3rd attempt - suck more fat out again.
A much safer and conservative approach, albeit time consuming, would be using fat dissolving infections like the e-laser. I cant remember the medical term for the injection but it is starting with "H". DO NOT USE LIPPODISSOLVE that crap is nasty and dangerous. Anyways the point of this approach is to better control the amount of fat dissolved. You inject bit by bit once every 2-3 weeks and monitor the situation until you are satisfied. Yes it takes longer but it is more controlled and less risks involved
