sandymaxwell Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Hi all, I am trying to see more Korean review on plastic surgery. However, I am unable to register their app, I used my US phone number and it said that my number doesn't exist. Could anyone give suggestion? Are there any website or app that Korean or Chinese speaking about plastic surgery? Thank you so much.
lovelypeach Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Hi @SandyMaxwell I think they now try to limit for korean users, so you gotta have a korean number to register There are other korean apps but Babitalk is the most famous one So young is a chinese one, there is a lot of information there, very useful app
gantz Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I tried to register in Soyoung and says my phone doesn't exist as well, so you have to have a chinese number to register?
daysuntilpretty Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 That's strange ! I can register for babitalk, I just needed my email. But for Soyoung I can't because I need a Chinese number I think
lovelypeach Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 For Babitalk I needed a korean number, hopefully I borrowed my dad's korean number, and it worked For Soyoung I didn't need a chinese number@daysuntilpretty @Linlin18
cute_lil_fiend Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Hongfenbaobao (pinkbaby) was mentioned a couple times of this forum, but I've never used it so YMMV.
illray Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I am wondering if the reviews in Babitalk are reliable I'm afraid if it's posted by promoters.
daysuntilpretty Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I asked some clinics about the promotions, and they mentioned that in order to join you have to write a review on babitalk after
lovelypeach Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 @illray There are A LOT of promoters on Babitalk/paid reviews this is so insane. Because there is almost only locals, and it's all in koreans it's way easier for promoters to promote their clinic I wouldn't rely too much on these reviews (I don't trust really trust Babitalk) even if it's really honest, remember that they may be paid to do this Locals themselves say there are too many promoters, so when I go on Babitalk I only look for serious threads, and that's still difficult to be sure there's no promoter in it. So try to look for long posts with a lot of details and no obvious clinic advertising, if you can read or translate
astrid07 Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Thank you for your info. But the reviews and inform is in Korean and Chinese right? or can I change it to English??
jiaxo Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Same here. Pretty much all the clinics I asked about Babitalk with would not give me the local price.
daysuntilpretty Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 So sad TT^TT I mean the prices on there are CRAZY cheap! I understand as foreigners, maybe there's extra services (translating, pickup etc.) but it really shouldn't cost double or even three times.
