I am planning to get my jaw and nose fix. Throughout my journey, I will be sharing my experience in this thread. I am a male. I feel that it's a little big and hoping to get it corrected through surgery. If you have any recommendation on which doctor and which clinic, please feel free to post in this thread. I am wondering how much does it cost to get this two surgeries done?

I have contacted DocFinderKorea.com by using online consultation. I was contacted in a day by a representative called Jennifer. The average of response time is about a day. I have sent pictures of my face through email and now awaiting for a quote. She mentioned that she has submitted my pictures to clinics and she will get back to me soon once she get any feedback.

I will continue to update this thread. Thanks!

There's another question that I am wondering. To those who have done their surgeries in Korea. Does the clinic provide you a place to stay for 2 weeks or do you have to find your own hotel and pay for it?

As for lodging facilities, in my research I actually only came across one clinic where people mentioned they provide a lodging for a longer period, but not sure whether it was as long as 2 weeks though. But nearly all clinics will provide let you stay overnight if you have a major surgery, and jaw should be invasive, but then you usually will go back to your hotel/apartment.

You can easily check this with the clinic directly, but just keep in mind that it will typically be a shared room or something in case they do provide lodging. So depends on whether you want this or not.

Good luck with your trip!

I have received a response. According to the 5 clinics, they recommended zygoma reduction and V-line surgery for my case. I like to get my nose done but doing both at the same time is out of my budget.

For my chin implant i contacted docfinder, they recommended me 3 clinics, but i only went to one of their chosen clinics, at the same time I also went for consultation with other clinics that are not under docfinder korea.
I would suggest u to do the same, u need to do yor research and dont just depend on their clinic options (even your surgery options). The point is, the more u know, the better choice u would make (hopefully).
Btw i stayed at airbnb, i dont see the need to stay nearby the clinic because basically i just went there 2-3times, i can easily take taxi, which will be cheaper way to save money, rather than staying at (crappy) hotel nearby your clinic.
Btw the biggest advantage is that they have kitchen, u will need microwave and u will need to cook your food after surgery, clearly u cant go out for 3-7days post surgery

How long did you stayed in the hotel and how much does it cost? I hope you don't mind letting me know as I am planning for my budget before taking off to Seoul . Which clinic did you went to? Are you happy with your result?

Thanks Bluemark_88 for your suggestion. I contacted K-Doctors by using the chat. The person who chat with me is very friendly and also responded me very fast. He has added me to IM and will get back to me shortly after I sent him my pictures using email. I will continue to update this post when I hear back from him. Thanks!

Like OhBlackrabbit says, most forummers recommend that it is best to research a list of clinics you want to visit for consults in Korea before deciding on where to get the surgery. This forum is great as many share their experiences in different threads and if we are talking about jaw and cheeks, then relatively DA, Banobagi, View, EverM, TFD have more positive remarks then negative ones, so you can chose to do your own research on these clinics as well. Good luck!

@minigenjis I stayed for 11days, ard $60 per night  i eventually did my surgery at Namu , pretty happy with the result. Could be better I guess but im not really looking for perfection lol. As long as I look (much) better and natural (which I stressed it to my doc like zillion times), im a happy customer

Latter clinic you mentioned had botch case from 2015, you can google it i think it's on yahoo news

About K-Doctors, or same service as such if you going through pages in purseforum you can see it's not really recommended, for several reasons.

Can I ask you why K-doctors isn't recommended?

Well somehow from what i read in threads of purseforum whatever service they do you can do it yourself, unless you are not willing or don't really have time. You can make appointments to clinic by your own by sending emails or text message them ( they usually have kakao or whatsapp etc ), you can getting around in Seoul by subway or taxis, if you need translator you can hire the legit one from korea government but i'm not very sure how to do that either. Unless you go to a very much local clinics that don't speak english, most places carry english translator nowadays. It's our own face we have to do our due diligence. And most of all the reason not to use those services is the bucks that you will save.. Better save it for your procedure prices rather than paying it to someone else right? Especially when that is the reason you would come to korea..

Anyway this is purely my opinion, you and everyone else can think otherwise.. Make your own informed decision. Do what is best for you
