Hi, I'm new to the forum, and I am a male. I just have a few questions regarding PS.
1. Is it common/wise/safe to get eye surgery at a different place to nose surgery? For example, getting eyes done at an eye specialist (e.g. Teuim), and then getting nose done at a rhinoplasty specialist (April 31)
2. I am thinking of going to Korea around mid January. Would this be during peak time?
3. I've already had someone answer this question, but I just wanted to double-check. Usually, is the time between consultation and surgery short (only a few days apart)?

There are less people than in December but Januray is still peak time until late January/early February !
Yeah, rather short. As you're coming to SK for a short period of time, they're not going to make you wait 3 weeks. And clinics get more money from foreigners. So naturally they will try to fit you a few days after consultation

1. Two things to keep in mind as well is that you will have to have anesthesia twice when doing at in different clinics, which typically is not a good idea to have in one day. Also when having surgery at different days you will have to take swelling into account as you will have new nose/eyes, so the doctor at the other clinic will have to take your new aesthetics into account.
2. Jan is indeed peak as it is a long school break.
3. One tip, is to plan consults at the beginning of the week, so you can have surgery that week and take advantage of the weekend to heal.

Good luck!

I've done a bit of research for #1 since I was considering doing the same thing (eyes & nose at different clinics). The general consensus on realself is that optimally you would get them done at the same time. If you choose to do them separately, doctors in the states recommend 1 month between procedures. https://www.realself.com/question/kingdom-city-mo-open-rhinoplasty-eye-blepharoplasty-wait-time

Thanks for all your replies.
Just some additional questions.
-Would going at peak time cause any issues?
-If I do go at peak time (ie January), would I still be able to get surgery quickly?

If you research this forum you will see PS goers have shared that getting a surgery spot even in peak seasons shouldn't be a problem. I only read few instances were it as difficult, but they still managed to get a spot. But I would simply recommend you to ask a clinic in advance, while you are already trying to plan consults with them anyway.

What you should take into account is that during peak season you will have a "worse" bargaining position in terms of discounts, as this is an effect of supply/demand. Good luck!

1. I don't think it should be a problem but yes as mentioned above, you have to watch for the swelling. I think eyes should done last if you are also getting rhino.
2. Yes, i heard it's also student's holiday
3. If you're a foreigner then it's a no. But just to be safe just check with your clinic of choosing.
