sophia990 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Oh wow. thanks for that info MissOrange!! Didn't really consider Banobagi but seriously after hearing this that clinic is a no no for sure.. View was on my list but idk.. they are famous for facial contouring so i am not sure how good they will be with des. I heard Teium is expensive but hopefully it will be worth a visit. Is MVP pretty pricey as well compared to other clinics?
raeyim Posted November 10, 2017 Author Posted November 10, 2017 For banobagi I’ve heard lots of bad review too. View never considered and Cinderella I did consider until the ridiculous op price from online consultation
cartoonweak Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Hello everyone. I am new here and I am from USA. I just came back from Korea last week. I want to share my experience about my double eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty surgery done in banobagi and I went with agency docfinderkorea. First of all, I went to Korea 6months ago to have consulation with dfk first l, they assisted me during the whole procedure and I got the price and information. I didn’t make decisions and didn’t book the surgery date yet. After 3months, I decided to go Korea on October. I emailed dfk again and paid deposit and fixed the operation date. Things went so smooth and fast that I still couldn’t believe that my surgeries are done last month already haha. Most of the swollen and bruise on my face are gone. I look normal now and I am satisfied with the result. All of my friends think that I look more pretty but so natural. I am thinking to have face lifting next year. But the thing is now I am gonna work harder to earn money first. Hahaaa if you guys want to know more about my trip in Korea. Feel free to reply me. Thx)
mitsukee Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Hi Cartoonweak, congrats on your successful surgery and glad to hear that you're satisfied with your results! Would be great if you can share who your treating doctor is and the price of the procedures. I'm thinking of engaging dfk as well but am wondering if they really helped in bargaining of prices and if it's necessary to engage their services since most top clinics have in-house translators.
ducktail Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 I got my eyes done recently at MVP, I'm really impressed with the doctors work because of how asymmetrical my eyes were (they aren't even positioned equally on my skull) but now you can hardly tell imo their pricing is pretty fair as well. My consultant there actually got her eyes done at Dream, she considers it a botched job but they look decent to me. There's a lot of talk about banobagi so I'll share my limited experience with them. Honestly I don't have a good opinion on them. Their prices are ridiculous, and they took a month to answer my email only to redirect to another one.. That took another two weeks before I got what appeared to be a canned response suggesting I get procedures I never asked about including zygoma. If they had bothered to look at my photos they would see that I have literally 0 cheekbones (something I've always been self conscious about because I think cheekbones are pretty) I think tieum does pretty nice eyes, but their website seems to glorify Caucasian eyes a little too much for my tastes.. Personally, as far as pricing goes, I would never pay more than an average of 1k per procedure when it comes to eyes.
rubyng Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 How about Line clinic? They gave me very good price 2000$ for buried suture DES + medial canthoplasty? Are they good? I hesitate between banobagi 3500$ and Line 2000$ ☠️. It's so big differnce and i dont want to risk my eyes. If Line is not enough good, i will go to banobagi even they are expensive
alexymm Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 How expensive is Teium? Is it like 4 krw mil?
positivecarry Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Hi MsOrange, can you tell me how your epi+ptosis+DES at MVP went? for the epi, were there any visible scarring? I am planning to do the same this January at MVP and wanted a real life opinion on the long term results. Thank you.
raeyim Posted December 14, 2018 Author Posted December 14, 2018 I got the same procedure done last year and I did full incision. Scarring will really depend on your aftercare and if you remember to put anti scarring cream
positivecarry Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Thank you for replying! I just heard that epi is more prone to scarring than incisional DES, even if putting on antiscarring cream. So you didn't encounter any visible scars from epi after putting on cream everyday?
