I got my breasts done in Korea recently. And wanted to share my experience with 'plastic surgery tourism' since I have read a lot of negative things about it and would like to bring up positive things from my experience. I'm a singaporean and I first was going to get my breasts done at the same place I got my nose done at. However I changed my mind after doing some research. I wanted to get motiva silicon inserts in my breasts and they didn't do that there. I found a review on reddit of someone with who got motiva inserts in Korea. There is actually a place in Singapore that also does motiva inserts but there are a lot of negative reviews about that hospital. I was already planning to go to South Korea for a vacation so I scheduled my surgery nicely.
So it's been about 1 month since I got my motiva implants. Even though my results are satisfactory to me, I was told they would look better once I am fully recovered. If you have any questions about motiva implants feel free to ask me

Which method did they use for your inserts? Also can you share pics?

They used the endoscopic method done. They made incisions at my armpits and made the inserts through there. I had 300 cc motiva inserts put in. I felt my breasts were too flat above the nipple and didn't stick out as much on the bottom. When I wore thin t-shirts or tangtops my chest looked so saggy from the side and my mother has a similar figure as me but I saw her breasts were very saggy now and I didn't want that. Here is my before and after (about 4 weeks)

Motiva implants are very expensive but I was able to get a discount and pay around 10 million korean won. I was actually discouraged by the price and thought about getting a different implant instead but changed my mind and went with motiva.

I had to wear a compression bra for about 2 and half weeks. I couldn't wear anything that added pressure directly on my breasts so it was a bit uncomfortable during that time. I was told by the surgeon that I didn't have to wear the compression bra now so I am currently wearing a wireless one. I was told I can't wear a normal one for at least 2-3 months. Here is the pic of the compression bra I had to wear.

It was at Regen plastic surgery. Actually I didn't care which hospital it was as I was looking to get the procedure performed by Dr. Woo Jung Kim who happened to be a surgeon at Regen.

The after treatment was the very best. The staff treated me very nicely and were very patient with me because I have a low pain tolerance and complained a lot but they were still very sincere. However people should expect this kind of care because the price of surgery in South Korea is expensive when getting work done by well-known surgeon however I was able to negotiate my price down a little bit.

Funny that you ask. Even though there were more koreans, there were a lot of foreigners there . I saw quite a bit of white women considering it is an asian country. There was also a bit of asian americans and asian australians. This asian woman from australia who got her breasts done by the same surgeon as me said a large % of asians in australia all go to South Korea for their plastic surgery needs.
