_ava Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 I will be in Korea early January and I only have 3 clinics in mind right now (GNG, Banobagi, JK). Anyone have any recommendations of clinics that are good with rhinoplasty and DES?
ashleytin Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 two of my friends done rhinoplasty surgery with DA and the result is amazing. im thinking to go there mid of next year but i still havent done any consultation with any clinic yet. whats the quote and which clinic are you going to have it done with ?
_ava Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 Hi @ashleytin, I'm trying to get a consultation with April 31 but they take a very long time to reply and when they do its only a few words. For DES revision and primary rhinoplasty I was quoted around $8-9,000 range. I just look at DA's before & after for eyes and nose, I really like their results. Hoping I can schedule a consultation with them too. I haven't set my mind on a specific clinic yet, I was hoping to decide that after f2f consultation.
ashleytin Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 one of my friend paid £3000 and another one paid £4000 with DA. I like GNG clinic as well. my friend said if you pay cash over there, they can give you a good discount or you can ask for 10% tax refund back. are you just gonna have rhinoplasty
kpsa Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I have mentioned this in another thread, but it would be good to have a clear understanding on whether you're actually getting a discount or you are getting a 10% tax refund in the form of a discount. Until Dec 2017, most clinic will give you a 10% tax refund as this is a government program, which you can claim back at the airport. So if a clinic says you can get a tax refund, it is not actually a clinic specific program, meaning you're not really getting a discount. Many here have mentioned that clinics will give you a discount if you pay in cash, which is a common practice. However, if you pay in cash and you do not get a 10% tax refund, you're essentially getting something you already should get in the form of a discount, of course unless the discount is more than 10%. The advantage I believe of paying in cash, while not getting a receipt for a tax refund, would be that you get the money back directly so you can spend it in Korea So always ask if you pay in cash whether you still get a tax refund or not. Hope this helps.
princealmia Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I recommend either Seoul Guide Medical or JW for Rhino. I've been doing my research for around 3 years and my conclusion is that both of the clinics I listed above are the best and safest bet for rhinoplasty.
krod2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I would recommend GNG vs the other clinics you mentioned because they are ENT specialist. Its good to have a pretty nose, but you also want it to function properly .Ive also seen a really nice nose produced from the revision specialist there. I honestly only like the work produced from him.
ashleytin Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 hi I like before and after pics from GNG and seen lots of good reviews abo it GNG as well. it's just that 2 of my friends done PS with DN and seen amazing results with my own eyes.. so I don't know which one do i have to go ahead with it..
kpsa Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Isn't Seoul Guide Medical a medical tourism company instead of a clinic?
krod2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Well since your friends had a good experience and you seen their results firsthand, thats even better!
_ava Posted November 14, 2017 Author Posted November 14, 2017 I have scheduled my consultation appointment with GNG, Banobagi, JK, DA, April 31. 5 clinics in one day since I am only there for 10 days.
kpsa Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Wow, must have a really tight planning then, good luck!
