Hello!
3 weeks ago I did my facial contouring surgery at GNG hospital. It was late November so it was quite cold in Seoul already (almost winter, lol ). This time I've travelled a bit around Korea before my surgery, I visited Busan and later took a KTX train to Seoul. It was quite nice, except of cold and windy. Yellow and red trees looked so beautiful. Finally I've arrived to GNG hospital on 27 Nov
I've already been admired by the transformation they did on my nose, so I haven't even think much, I already trust GNG to be professional in whatever face surgery you'd like to do. So decision for making my facial contouring was light and breezy. (originally I wanted to cut only my chin, but 1 day before surgery date I've changed my mind and decided to proceed with full V-Line surgery instead)
The operation consisted of two parts: V-Line surgery performed by Dr.Dal Choi (http://www.gnghospital.com/en/dr-young-dal-choi-md/ - he is the most famous for jaw surgeries) and Fat Grafting performed by Dr.Young Kim (http://www.gnghospital.com/en/dr-hye-young-kim-md/).
I've chosen additional PRP injecting which supposed to help face healing faster after fat grafting and filler injection for my lips (Dr.Young used Restylane 1 mg filler).
My first operation was jaw V-Line surgery with Dr.Choi scheduled at 10 am and Dr.Kim in few hours after.
I cam to the hospital around 8.30-8.45, as patients allowed to come earlier than official opening hours.
The stuff was very kind (as always ^^), they checked my blood (they warned me I have a high Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) level so I should check-up in General hospital later, however they consult with anaesthesiologist and he confirmed the level is within acceptable bound for the surgery, otherwise they have had to postpone operation to another date).
Finally I signed the contracts (they allowed me to take my phone to show pic of jaws I like to Dr.Choi and keep wearing contacted lenses until I finish with everything).
Contract signed. I went to the ward to keep the phone and contact lenses and everything there and go down to the surgery floor. Second time after my nose surgery in July, I pass this Air blow room and enter surgery site. These day I was surprised how many people was there. I think it was over 10 nurses taking care of me and everything in the operation room (unfortunately they didn't speak English well, but my interpreter always been with me and she stayed there until I slept).
These time I wasn't scared as I did it before. More interested to see how my face will look like in few months ( I can't wait to see the result! haha ).
I know it will be good. Finally I started to fall asleep... even saw a dream... Field and rabbits ... ^^

Thank you so much for your consistent check ups and reviews! They're so helpful, as I'm booking a fat graft and chin consultation with GNG for April. Looking forward to updates and results!

GNG is so cool! I'm interested in Dr Choi too for sliding genio. I wonder if the recovery is similar or easier than v line...

Also, why did you have black eyes from the procedure?

I'm interested in sliding genio with Dr. Choi as well, and perhaps a bit of shaving on the chin if it's necessary to create that natural, round look I'm going for. When might you go to Korea for genio?

She probably had bruising from the fat grafting btw!

Sure! Also, if you haven't read it, you should read my post on a gracious AirBnb host named Tony that I stayed with for my head aug surgery. I'll be staying in one of his apartments again when I go back.

I'm staying with Tony as well! I hope I can book a room before it fills up!
