alisaliza Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 To the envy of others, I never looked like my real age. I always took care of myself with proper nutrition, didn't abuse cosmetics and did all kinds of different necessary procedures for my skin youth. However, to our great regret, we are not young forever and wrinkles began to appear. Once, I lost 10 pounds, even though loosing weight was properly planned, it anyway left quite a strong effect on my face and I decided to lift the skin with special threads. What are threads? There are many kinds of them, for different purposes and areas. After the resorption of threads a scar is formed on their places, which acts as a framework. Fortunately, I got a doctor who was sure that we all have unique face structure and as a result, he preserved all my facial expression and mobility. I've seen a lot of people loosing sensitivity after facial lifting and I even read a review of a woman describing her problems with closing eyes after lifting procedures. So, the approach to choose the right clinic and surgeon was very careful. I mostly listened to the advice from my friends, people whom I really trust and now I'm pretty pleased with the result! Procedures that I overcame brought me much more confidence. I will definitely repeat them when it would be necessary. The clinic I got the procedures done was Regen, very bright place with nice stuff. Here are some of my pics before and after. Good Luck!
merrymarry Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Thanks for sharing. Was the threadlift the only procedure you got? Your results are excellent btw. Also what was the type of thread used and the cost?
alisaliza Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 Thanks, not just thread lift… Actually I got atess lift and a fat graft in June and came back in october to get a fat graft retouch. I was originally going to do the thread lift only but the surgeon said getting a fat graft will make the thread lift look even better. I am so satisfied now and I think if I didn't get the fatgraft as well, it would not have looked this good. The pictures after were made last month. And yes, the thread lift was quite expensive, even though they dissolve over time and the procedure will have to be repeated, I still think it definitely worth it.I paid for the thread lift fat graft and the retouch all at once which was around 5 million won. But I think the price can be different from person to person because there are different types of threads for different skin types and fat graft prices vary depending on area. If you really want an accurate quote you should get a consultation.
curlycurtis Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I also got a threadlift not too long ago but I wasn't satisfied with my results .Mine was a bit cheaper than yours however I will need to have a revision done. Maybe I should try a Korean surgeon?Do I have to do the fat graft as well? I am so envious of your results.
merrymarry Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Which surgeon did you perform your procedures at Regen? I've read quite a bit about them on a few other forums.
alisaliza Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 Thank you so much frankly speaking I was also concerned about the price but thought if it's not cheap it should be perfect and Regen is one of the most prestigious plastic surgeries in Seoul that's why I trusted that the results would be just what I was expecting.
alisaliza Posted January 10, 2018 Author Posted January 10, 2018 His name Dr. Myung june oh. A fine person and good specialist, was very friendly and always answered my questions, guess that's why he is so popular lol. He had quite good English, but the clinic provided me with an English speaking assistant anyway. So, if your Korean is at 0, no worries, they will help.
merrymarry Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Thanks for the info. Did your surgeon give a timeline on when you will need revision, if you do?
alisaliza Posted January 11, 2018 Author Posted January 11, 2018 When exactly I'll have to input new threads have no idea, as it depends on many factors, but in average they are for a couple of years, I think.
