Booking surgery date question~

I'm planning to get surgery done in SK near the end of this year and i'll be consulting around 3-5 hospitals. I'm just wondering how fast can a hospital book me in for surgery once i've decided on which one i go with???

Good question. Waiting for replies as well, since I plan to go in the summer and shop around with consultations. Have limited time as well (8nights for DES)

Once you decide, you can have surgery even on the next day. If you go in peaked season, they might suggest you booking surgery date prior to consultation

It’s also worth noting most clinics are closed on Sundays, and make sure you take into account any public holidays that fall during your stay too. Ideally these days should fall on a recovery days (post surgery) or flight days to ensure you make the most of the time you have there.

Agree and probably it will take more days during peak season;holidays, vacations. Also, big clinic which has so many surgeons would have openings even in super busy season.

I just came back from Korea, I arrived January 16th, consulted on the 17th and 18th and had surgery on the 20th. I consulted with 5 clinics and all chief surgeons had availability 0-2 days (one clinic wanted to do surgery later that day). I wouldn’t get caught up in the low vs peak season, they will get you in!
