That's awesome! Love a doctor who can take responsibility for his actions. Let us know how everything goes.

That's good to hear! From their standpoint, if you post pics of yourself showing the result of what that doctor and clinic did to you, it could be very damaging to them, so you do have some power here. Let me say this though, when it comes time to actually write you a check, you may have a different experience. So once you know the exact price, you should confirm with them before you get any word done to confirm they will cover the surgery in full, preferably get it in writing so communicate via email or text. I suspect his co-worker surgeon in Korea would him a big discount on the price since his colleague is paying for it instead of you. If you get it done by another doctor of your own choosing, you'd likely pay much more. Would he still cover the cost in that case?

Make sure to take lots of pics of your full face from multiple angles before you get anything done as you don't want them claiming your revision surgery caused the issues. Another thing to keep in mind is your issue may take multiple procedures over time to fully correct as it's a difficult problem to treat. The doctors you consult should cover this with you. Good luck!

Well, actually his Korean colleague is just to evaluate my situation and to recommend me a good surgeon who could correct my forehead issue, he is not gonna perform anything on me.

I will definitely take thousands of photos of me before revision and I am eager to get official letter or promise kinda note from my previous surgeon that he is fully responsible for revisional surgery cost.
During our meeting I mentioned about ulthera and he said “it will need many sessions” and also he said “first you need to try non-surgical methods and if there’s no result you should take surgical measure to correct it” and later on he expressed he is ready to cover the cost. So I think he will pay whatever it takes.

Buuuuuuut I am planning to get direct incision surgery to remove the lumps and some other fat melting techniques to dissolve the rest (of course the dr who would perform revision will decide it though).

Anyways, thanks for your advices. Your advices were all very important and I will definitely keep them in my mind.

PS: He grafted fat in the last layer of skin he said. So I hope maybe liposuction is still an option.

Yeah, he was totally cool.

I have des and jaw, zygoma asymmetry issues too. And when I saw the female surgeon who did these she was total *******. And that clinic manager called me “your face was asymmetric from the beginning, there are people like you who wants to take some money when they’re totally fine” when my des is extremely scarred, sausage like, asymmetrical and my zygomas are big and small, jawline asymmetric (the funny thing is my face didn’t change at all except it became asymmetrical. I don’t even understand how did that female surgeon made my face asymmetrical when my face size is still the same???? Didn’t even get slightly smaller, only gone asymmetric) I am going to sue her after revisional surgeries.

So after this kind of humiliation from that clinic I could never imagined doctors would be so cool about their mistakes and being responsible for their “hands”. Yeah, I am totally blown away by this doctor and decided to continue being a customer of his clinic, of course only on non-surgical services like prp, RF treatments.

Sometimes I think maybe god punished me for doing stuff on my face making all the surgeries problematic because I had really nice shaped face (normal zygoma, normal jawline), long eyes with really thin eyelids and my eyes were not small too. For last 6 years, almost everyday I have been regretting for getting surgeries. This May or Oct I am gonna go to Korea to fix everything back. I don’t want v-line or small face - I just want my face to be symmetric again, I don’t need big shiny eyes-I just want my eyes to be with no scar and wanna close my eyes without embarrassment.

I am really happy that Purseforum does exist and members like you happen to be here. Thanks guys!!!

I thought that if a clinic has plastic surgery behind the name then it will be certified. The full name for Fresh is Fresh Plastic Surgery so it should be certified.

Hey which clinic are you talking about?

Kenalog injection will diminish your lumps.

It would have been very nice if it was this simple. For my case steroid injection is almost not an option because healthy fat that surrounding the lumps would shrink/melt down a lot so those lumps could become more prominent.

PS: My unsuccessful surgeries were performed in local clinics which are not in Korea.

Actually, to be honest i was feeling lazy & today i'm feeling a bit off so please excuse me for mentioning about kenalog injections whereas in actuality i was to write about Ultherapy. See, the thing is ultherapy produces heat and remodelling of the collagen tissues in the transdermal layers of the skin with the help of ultrasound energy and the heat produced will eventually melt down the lumps on your forehead and as an added bonus you'll have more younger looking forehead.

Sorry again. Hope this helps

No problem. Even though dr would decide what to do about it, personally I was thinking ulthera would do. Buuut I want immediate result. Ulthera would take many sessions, so I am not so keen about it. I am gonna go for direct incisional lump removal and if there’s still minor problem left I will try ulthera.

Do you know where in Seoul they do it?

ETA: I saw you adjusted your answer. But I am slightly concerned about ultherapy due to what I've read on it. And I'd like to use Kenalog on a keloid.

Hi @eurasianbeauty

For keloid scars kenacort injections are your best bet and you can get them done in any good ps clinic in the hands of a doctor that you can trust upon. And may i know what is your concern regarding Ultherapy?
