jassicasanders Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 I'm imagining of how wonderful it would be if I could remove excess fat from my belly and input it into my lantern jaws, forehead and chin. And started considering a fat grafting, but a bit afraid that the fat won't be distributed evenly. I'm currently on working contract in Seoul, has anyone proceeded fat grafting here? What can you say of local surgeons and clinics?
frozenqueen Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 I got fat transplantation done almost 3 months ago in Seoul with my mom. My eyes were also a bit droopy so I also got a subbrow blepharoplasty. The clinic was Regen and my doctor was Dr.Lee. The place was very bright and clean, good atmosphere and very polite staff and the doctor was very attentive and detailed, didn't hide anything and answered all my questions. I'm quite satisfied with my results and later in March planning to proceed with breast implant, rhinoplasty and get a fat retouch up in needed areas.The surgeon said I only needed to do the fat transplantation once but most people get it done twice on average. The first time they do it in the area you want and after 3-6 months they do a retouch up in the areas that need it which makes the best of the results. So i decided to get one 3 months later along with breast implants and rhino.

frozenqueen Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 I was under sleep anesthesia, so didn't feel anything during the operation. After the surgery I got only a little swelling, but by the 3 day it was almost gone. The procedure consisted of 2 parts, first Dr.Lee extracted the necessary fat from inner zone of my thighs. Then as I was told the fat was processed and inserted into selected zones, so I got 21cc in my forehead and brow zone, 2cc in lips and 4cc in cheeks. Some fat remained, so I just decided to get a retouch after 3 months. I was a bit scared at first so I only got the fat graft and my eyes done but since my results were good and I trusted my surgeon I made an appointment for another procedure. In total, it was around 2 hours and I didn't stay there for night, just came back after7 days for the final checkup. Here are my b&a pics. (before) (before) (a week after) (a month after)

sunnymedina Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Thanks for sharing, like your results. Have you notice any unevenness? I've heard many people complaining that after the procedure they got bumpy surface and that sounds creepy.
frozenqueen Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Dr.lee said that about 20% of fat will dissolve within 3 months, so this is considerably final. The total cost was around 3.7 mil KRW and I also got some discount since I went with my mom who got some work done as well.

Regen is one of the prestigious plastic surgery in Seoul and I know that they have many foreign patients which indicates the professionalism of doctors working there. Besides, I got a friend who got her breast done at Regen about 3 years ago, so she also influenced my decision.

But how did you handle language barriers, even though I'm in Korea, my language skills are above basic lol. Do they speak English? I don't have Korean friends yet and don't really want to overpay for the translation.
frozenqueen Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 I started my communication process with Regen via WhatsApp and the assistant was quite fluent in both writing and speaking. Dr.Lee, however, couldn't speak English pretty well, so the assistant was with me everywhere and translated literally every word. I think the price already includes all services.
