kwishes Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Hi all, im scheduled to go to korea on the 2nd march to 11th march. Im planning to consult GNG and BANOBAGI for my rhinoplasty. Which one do you think is better?
perceval Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 GNG, definitely. I wouldn't recommend Banobagi, as I've noticed that they have mixed reviews. However, you should go to both just to see which one better suits your preferences. Don't just rely on what we say here.

But the consultant at GNG says that i need to stay until 12th March to take out the stitches. I asked her if i am able to take out the stitches back in my country but she say that i only can take out the stitches in GNG and have to extend one day to 12th March. Why is this so? If i were to extend i have to pay $120 for the extend of flight though. Not quite sure what to do.
perceval Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 That's actually quite normal for any clinic to make you wait seven days to get the stitches out. It's part of the healing process. Keep in mind you're only consulting online and in person you'll probably be able to negotiate with them. If you tell both clinics your situation in person they could come to an understanding. I'm not too sure about the flight issue but I personally would put in the $120. I think Banobagi might pull that one on you too, even if they haven't said anything about it, just saying.

eurasianbeauty Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 If the choice is between the two, GNG. Staying and paying the extra is in your best interest. They do deswelling treatments and more before your stitches come out. Why pay all this money just to mess it up due to impatience?

kwishes Posted February 23, 2018 Author Posted February 23, 2018 Yes guys, i extended my flight. My worry was that i was going with my family (big group), not only i have to extend, my whole family needs to extend too. Anyway i will come back to review my experience after im done with surgery.
sheonlylooks25 Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Furthermore a lot of patients who go back to their home country have found most doctors are reluctant to take out stitches of another doctor and being rhino you would also have to go to a plastic surgeon as a GP wouldn't do it. If you can't afford to stay that could be a problem for you.
