thomas-duncan Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 aait lemme set something straight: - closed rhinoplasty can be done on EVERYBODY regardless whether think or thick skin, ethnicity whatsoever. - closed rhinoplasty is the prefered technique for everybody who is into aesthetics, dont want visible scars and invasive surgery - closed rhinoplasty has been the standard technique worldwide up until recently. it is definitely more difficult and requires more expertise,experience. That is why only a handful of surgeons posses the skills to perform it these days. - for some/most revision cases - the more complex the more likely it is - a closed technique might not be possible. Why? Lack of access have set it straight
rosalind66 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 I agree that closed rhino CAN be done on everybody. but that does not mean that it is the BEST method for everybody. closed rhino is less invasive and has less risk of scarring. but for some noses that requires a lot of bulbous tissue to be excised, closed rhino might not be the best method. one main drawback of open rhino is possibility of internal scarring, and shortening of collumela. therefore, closed method is preferred unless one's nose is unsuitable for it.
cythr Posted October 17, 2019 Posted October 17, 2019 If you are wanting a natural result I think The Plus might be a good option for you. Hyundai is also really good so I would recommend checking them both out.
