Hi, eurasianbeauty. Yes, a local clinic, but I suppose they're all locals, some just bigger than others. I don't speak Korean and the doctors do, so that worked. The consult we just used Google/Naver translate. Most of the fat disippated, which I don't blame on the docs. Most docs I met with stateside said fat transfer is usually a 2-3x deal, and some even just flat out prefer fillers (even tho the cost long-term is quite pricey)

I can't speak for others but when I say local clinic I mean one known only to locals. they don't cater to foreigners at all.

How did you find it? Did you negotiate at all? How did you do payment?

Great question, EAB (can I abbreviate? LOL). I would agree with what you said about foreigners, but if you go to their site, they have options to translate in Chinese and Japanese, which I am 99% sure weren't there last year. That said, I only saw Koreans in the waiting room at the time. My mom told me about it, and she found out about it from asking her friends. I did not negotiate. With a full nose job (bridge + tip), double eyelid incision (none of the suture crap for me) + epicanthoplasty, plus fat - I thought negotiating below $4K quoted would just be greedy. As it was, I almost didn't go with them because it was so cheap/inexpensive and that had me worried. I know the fat transfer was a bit lower this year due to being a repeat customer. I paid with my credit card; no way am I carrying around thousands of bucks; seems most folks were paying with CC, too

Another thing I liked is that he trained at U of Pittsburgh, and I'm a big fan of Western medicine (sorry, Mom) even though he is a total Korean practitioner - I liked the fact he was at least aware of how things work in the US. Also, he discussed with me some diffs in the practices
