prettyliars Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Thank you for sharing . It's a big change ! Are you mixed? My nose is typical Asian nose , flare alars and wide tip. Dr. Seoung did a great job for your nose
cocopham11 Posted March 17, 2018 Author Posted March 17, 2018 Nope, I am full vietnamese. My nose was never that flat, the tip was just droopy and parrot like which I have always hated. GNG blew my expectations out of the water, not only did my results turn out good but the customer service & hospitality was amazing.. I still keep in touch with my translators because we had that much of a connection, they really care for their patients & I hope you have the same experience. I will continue to post about my time there slowly, stay following if you would like to know what you're in store for!
prettyliars Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Thank you. That's nice to hear. I do have 1 question. Were you in pain when you woke up and did you have to wait 6 hours before they give you pain medication ? And how did you like your fat grafing result ? I need a retouch fat grafting. Do you use kakao ?
cocopham11 Posted March 17, 2018 Author Posted March 17, 2018 I am fairly healthy & I would say more of an atheltic figure, so surgery for me has always been a breeze, the translator had told me that I wokeup from anesthesia very quickly & was very normal. From what I can remember I was just very dizzy when I wokeup, but that is normal, I didnt feel pain much @ that time probably because of the pain meds still lingering in my blood stream. I was't able to drink water for I think 1.5 or 2 after i wokeup, but as soon as I was able to drink water they brought me my pain meds. The pain slowly came following but more so in my rib area because I had cartilage from my ribs harvested there, my face was fine though. (Korean pain meds are very weak compared to overseas) so I would suggest bringing stronger pain meds if you feel you are more sensitive to pain. Yes i love my fat grafting results! My face is much more youthful! The Dr that did that was Dr. Hye-Young Kim, i forgot to mention it in my first post but i will as I continue posting later. & no I do not have kakao.
maliboo Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 hey @cocopham11, thanks for sharing. your tip is gorgeous! from the front, you can really tell the difference, and so natural. glad to hear that your second revision rhino worked out for you, god i can't imagine the stress going into it multiple times. i am also going with dr seong and looking forward to it one q: how long did you stay in korea and how many times did you go back to GNG for a check-up?
caliroll Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Glad to hear you are happy with your result. I was going to say that it is a pretty dramatic change but the important thing is that you are happy with your result.
cocopham11 Posted March 22, 2018 Author Posted March 22, 2018 This was actually my third rhino! But yes im sooo happy he literally has changed my life lol I have always been self conscious about my nose from the side, but now i LOVE it, i cant stop looking at it. I stayed in korea for 11 days! Over the period I was in & out of the hospital approximately 6 times? First day for consultation, second day was my surgery, i spent 2 days in the hospital because I had rib cartilage taken. Following I had to come back 3-4 more times for cast removal + my daily IV drip & then final assement with the Dr. Depending on what you get and the extent of it, everything varies. (So keep in mind if you aren’t doing rib cartilage you will probably not to have return as much)
cocopham11 Posted March 22, 2018 Author Posted March 22, 2018 Thanks! & Yes it is very dramatic if i compare to my old nose but in real life it looks very natural! Hehe
leelala Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 your nose looks so natural and really great! Can I ask you about how you like your fat graft? And who did the fat graft surgery?
p-joann14 Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 (Korean pain meds are very weak compared to overseas) so I would suggest bringing stronger pain meds if you feel you are more sensitive to pain. <--- Thanks for the heads up!! haha Love it! you're brave for doing rib rhinoplasty. I have heard it can be painful, but your review gives me hope
