Hi there,

I recently travelled to Seoul Korea from Canada for plastic surgery. I am currently 1 month post op and am so happy with my results, I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would love to share my overall experience with all of you! I know how stressful it can be to search for the right doctor, not even kidding you I would literally lose sleep over this. I would spend endless nights searching all over the internet for hours on end every week for the best doctors worldwide... on Websites, forums, Youtube, Instagram.. everywhere!! looking at every possible before & after photo I could stumble upon. Let's just stay I was an expert at browsing anything plastic surgery related! lol I am so thankful to have came upon a forum on here actually, where I had discovered GNG Hospital Korea. The forum I came across everyone had spoke so many good things about their results and the hospital itself. That was the moment when I then turned my inner search engine on full gear!! I started to dissect the hospitals website, their Instagram page, and videos on youtube of diary vlogs, after a week of a full inspection, I decided to reach out to them for a consultation. The website provides many ways you can connect with them, I chose via WhatsApp Messenger. I wrote to them about my past surgeries from a list of things I have gotten done and the time frame of when I had done them. I talked about the things I was expecting to gain from these future procedures and asked about the approximate cost of how much everything would cost me. I sent them a clear picture of my front view, side view and a picture of me smiling just so I could show them what I hated about my nose lol.

A little run down of my past surgeries, I have gotten 1 rhinoplasty & a revision within the past 8 yrs? After my revision rhinoplasty I was NOT happy with my nose at all, I hated it!! I felt like I had ruined my nose even more and should have just left it the first time. I knew that in order for me to have it done right for the last and final time I would HAVE to travel overseas to Korea to the best of the best! I had many worries since this would be the 3rd time operating on my nose, there were many doubts, I was afraid it could get worse, but all I wanted was to improve it. I am a very petite asian female just below 30 years of age, and I felt like being so petite in my weight, my face also had lost lots of volume, I was starting to look gaunt, my under eyes were a little sunken in, my marionette lines were starting to form, I just didn't have that youthful glow because of lack of fat in my face. In my online consultation to GNG I had consulted about (Rhinoplasty Revision) as for (Facial Fat Graft).

I haven’t logged into here in ages because life... but i thought i’d post a picture of my nose now that it’s basically fully healed (its been 10 months post op)
After 2nd revision (rib cartilage)
+ facial fat graft

One of my friend's (I met a friend in Korea) cousin worked at GNG and I luckily was able to get some details about them. She told me that the locals only really know them for their sleep center and their plastic surgery center is unheard of within the locals, so they don't actually have much local patients. Since they don't have much local patients, they're focusing their marketing to foreigners through the forum and through YouTube (like Valory). Mostly, they're putting up fake reviews and asking their foreigner patients to write reviews online by offering them huge discounts.

She also told me that although GNG's rhinoplasty specialists are good at functional surgery, they don't have experience in aesthetic surgery so for most of the results the nose looks big and masculine, which is okay for their male patients, but not so much for their female patients. Because of this they get a lot of complaints from their female patients that got rhinoplasty done there because the results don't look good. Just want to share what I found out because it seems that what we know about them is really different to what I heard.

This is no way a fake review at all as you can see my before and after and how drastic they have made my nose, i am VERY happy with it!

I haven’t logged on here in ages but i thought id post an update of my nose now that its close to a year post op.

I love my fat graft and am planning to come back in the following year for a touchup, because aprox 40% has subsided which is normal the first time!

I have not done any altering to my alar, but since the tip was raised up it made everything look much better, my nostrils are still somewhat visible but not as bad as before

I am on here to help girls find the right surgeon because I have gone through hell and back trying to get that perfect nose for the past 8 years! You can keep your negative comments to yourself and go elsewhere lol

Thanks! Mine was a second revision so it was much pricier than normal, i cant remember exactly in korean dollars but for my fat graft + revision rhino was about $13000 CAD. After care I stayed at their hospital for 2 nights since I had gotten fat transfer, but for rhino its only 1 night. They are amazing and you don’t feel alone while there either, something i was worried about lol & i stayed @ a hotel.
