sweetmalbec Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 hey! I was wondering if anyone is familiar with non-incisional ptosis correction and how it compares to regular ptosis correction? the only detailed explanation of the technique I could find is from this webpage: http://www.topps.co.kr/eng/eye/deye_corr.php is it simply a technique that cuts less of the eyelid skin? or is there a difference in the way the levator muscle is pulled up too?
cherryontop Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 it depends during consultation which one you should do, how thick the skin is and how much fat you have.
csolare Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Incisional excises part of the levator muscle that causes ptosis and non incisional lifts and binds them together (hence, non incisional.) One is not necessarily better than the other because it depends on your current eye structure (if you've had DES, how thick your lids are, etc...) ^^
sweetmalbec Posted March 7, 2018 Author Posted March 7, 2018 Ah I see! Thanks! So the technique of working on the muscle is fundamentally different. From this it seems like incisional method is more invasive and more permanent.
miame44 Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 I had mine done at Dream Clinic by Dr. Park DES with left eye ptosis correct. Did both eyes but only correct the left side.
miame44 Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 dear sweetmalbec ,http://www.topps.co.kr/eng/eye/deye_corr.php! This is a very nice clinic. For eyes and how about fat grafting chin are they good? I already have done my eyes at Dream. But I am very happy with the result. But looking for a chin fat grafting surgeon.
