I’m currently in Seoul now, 1 day after my op for acculift and threadlifting. Thought i’ll pen down my experience for readers to reference

It’s not my first time doing a PS ; 2 years ago I did an incisional double eyelid and this time I wanted to fix my sagging skin and have defined jawline and look better in pics!

I had initially wanted to go back to the clinic which did my eyes, but since this time I had more time, I thought I might as well “shop” around since consultation is free hahaha!

So on 8th March, I went to 2 clinics, one of which is DAPRS. From the moment I stepped in, I was quite impressed with its facilities , organised and the Receptionists all looked very natural.

My consultation was pleasant too! There was no moment when I felt pressured to take up anything, and my consultation Emily spoke very very good English!

The most important aspect of DAPRS that I like and thus decided with DAPRS is the tests they did, which included ecg heart check. I didn’t have that with the other clinic and I thought it’s very important since I’ll be under sedation.

My doctor was also very direct. Some gals might not like it but I’m a “dun waste my time” kind of person so I was Super Glad he was to the point and told me things I should fix in order of priority to improve my overall outlook. I didn’t even ask him for that! So I was pretty assured that he knows what he is doing. He didn’t suggest I do all, it was really a suggestion for me to think about and discuss with Emily.

My anaesthetic procedures were assuring too, they would tell me every step they are taking eg I would feel tingling feeling in legs etc.

Straight after the ops, they put me in a comfortable post op section and the Nurses constantly checked if I was ok. After 45 mins , I was up and could even take the subway back myself!

Will be posting more about my recovery next few days. It’s definitely swollen now but it’s normal for the swell to escalate in first 3 days (same with my eyelid op) , I’ll just do my best to follow the instructions and take my medication timely.

Hi hi!
I was under sleeping sedation, Glad that it’s not GA cos I don’t do well with GA ( bad experience from my leg operation years ago).

Yep I discharged on the same day! I could even walk around Gangnam after that hahah. Really compared to my eyelid surgery last time, acculift and threadlifting is small case (^.^)

I actually went to 2 other clinics for consultations but finally decided on DA cos their pre surgery process like checking ecg really put me at ease!

Hope this helps!

Today is my 4th day post op and I went back to DA for review! Super glad I can finally wash my hair !!!!! Hahah

The post care treatment at DA was really comfortable  they gave me a nice shampoo and a light treatment. All done in nice room with good privacy. Compared to the clinic I had 2 years ago, DA’s clinic is really luxurious and comfortable! And indeed the light treatment helps! Just after 1 session I can feel and SEE less swelling!

Dr Lee was very glad with my healing progress and assured me the swell will go down further since it’s not even 1 week post op and he can already see the difference! *Fingers cross*

Emily was also very kind to give me one
More treatment before I leave on Saturday! Really looking forward to the light treatment to do more wonders!
