airplanemode
My nose is just bulbous, can you recommend me some clinics with dramatic results?
Wondermuffin
I was looking at this $1.8m alar/tip reduction mini nose job at me cosmetic. Unfortunately, there aren’t many reviews on this clinic. Looks promising though, I will consult with them in Korea. https://www.meclinic.net/rhinoplasty.html
cherish-axel
Have you consulted with them yet? How was your consult?
Wondermuffin
Hey I haven’t gone to Korea yet. But since posting that post, I have decided against alar reduction and decided to do osteotomy and rhinoplasty. I won’t be going to meclinic for rhino related consultations, but will be going for skincare related treatments.
cherish-axel
Oh l'm looking for the same procedures. Osteotomy will narrow your nostril a bit then you may not need alar reduction. Can you tell me where do you have in mind?
Wondermuffin
Hi, yeah my actual problem with my nose is its broadness from the TOP, so osteotomy will help reduce the width. I did research and optimum alar reduction candidates should have nostril shaped like off-shaped circles. Ideal nostril shapes should be like kidney beans. To check put your phone on portrait mode and take a photo of your nostrils from the bottom. My nostrils are kidney beans so based on the plastic surgery site I read that from, I shouldn’t get alar reduction. To get further proof, I sent all my pictures (including the downward nostril pic) to View PS, they are very helpful and informative with online consultations and did not recommend me to get alar as my nostrils are not very big. They recommended osteotomy, tiplasty and hump reduction (I have a hump). What’s your current nose like. Who have you consulted? Where are you interested in going? cherish-axel
My current nose is like common asian nose which bulbous and flat. The biggest problem for me is thick skin on my tip so my nose looks wide and out of shape. My alar is not very big but familiar with circle shape. Also my nose bridge looks wide in front-view. Once I went to consult with surgeon in my country. He doesn't recommend me to get alar reduction but nose bridge augmentation and osteotomy. I have online consulted with many clinic which were mentioned here. Most of them suggested me to get open rhinoplasty(silicone or gore tex) with tip plasty , osteotomy and alar reduction. My lists to do face to face consult with are Hanabi , Cocoline and PS101 in August. I will try to contact View PS too. Do you prefer an ENT or plastic surgeon ? Thank you for your reply, very helpful for me.
Wondermuffin
View is quite expensive, haha to me anyway. I put my consultation price is the “prices of plastic surgery” thread. I’m still undecided for where to go for plastic surgery, maybe MVP or premier. I would prefer a plastic surgeon over ENT as I’m interested in changing the shape of my nose. What about you? renerene
Hi Everyone, if anyone keen to share their dramatic change of good surgery result, you may want to consider sharing in this thread that i had just created for sharing. I believe many members here would like to know the good clinics that deliver significant result and wish to research with convenience instead of digging through multiple post in the forum. #

kiwibridge
Hi Cherish, our noses sound very similar! Can I please ask if any clinic has recommended autologous rhino for you? I’m very interested in that... Do you know which clinic does that please?
cherish-axel
Oh Kiwi, I happy to share my experience with someone who is similar case to me.Most case of open rhinoplaty will use ear cartilage or septal cartilage on your tip. From my online consultation they didn't recommend me to use rib cartilage on my bridge cuz mine is primary. Silicone implanat is considered for me. D I have heard Trend clinic (Dr.lee) does that too. Please check them out. if you found good clinic to go please let me know too I would really appreciate!
