A tired woman began to look at me from the mirror long ago and I caught more and more sympathetic views. In September last year I firmly decided to solve the aging problem and began to actively search ways to infinite youth and found a solution - fat injections. What I found about it? Fat transfer is an injection of the patient’s own fat taken from one place and transplanted into others to correct missing volumes. And most importantly, only your fat is suitable - neither mother, nor husband and friends can't "share" and that makes the method 100% safe with no allergy or rejection reactions. First, the fat is taken from chosen areas, cleaned from blood and tissue fibers, processed and then injected where it's necessary. The only disadvantage of the procedure is that about 60% of cells die during the "settle down" process, so the experienced surgeon knows that the fat should be injected a bit more than it's required, but even in this case the exact % of loss will still depend on individual characteristics and sometimes a repeat procedure may be required to achieve the desired results. My purpose of the procedure was to correct the face shape and lines, remove asymmetry and wrinkles, make cheekbones and chin more defined. Once I found the desired procedure I started searching where and to whom to go. For me it was very important to choose the right surgeon, so I didn’t search in a specific area. According to the reviews and b&a pics that I found, Seoul seemed the right place to go. I stopped my choice with 4 surgeons, had pre-consultations and decided to visit all of them, so I set appointments and made a schedule. 1. Dr.Park from ID. I booked a room quite close to Gangnam st, so ID was the first as it was located quite far. I liked the clinic and the staff, but the wait time was too long (even though I got a scheduled appointment). I had to shift all my plans as I was waiting for the doctor for an hour and when finally met him, spent just 15 minutes. It seemed like he had other people waiting for consultations too. His English wasn't good, thanks to the assistant that helped me to understand at least most important moments. Even though he smiled a lot and tried to look friendly, I could read that he wanted to finish the consultation faster. The assistant apologized for the inconvenience, but that the impression wasn't pleasant at all. 2. Dr.Oh from Regen. The next stop was Regen and after experienced quite surprised unwelcoming, my expectations weren't high as before. I just grab a taxi and went to Regen as fast as I could. In the hall the assistant was already waiting for me, but I had to wait a little, as I already missed my time. Dr.Oh started the consultation with general questions, like how is Korea and whether I experienced any difficulties with language, so attentive. Then he listened to my questions and moved to his suggestions. Later it turned out that I spend more than an hour, but for me it was like a couple of minutes. Leaving Regen I understood how the consultation should be and what to expect from an experienced surgeon. 3. Dr.Kim from Wonjin. By the time I finish my second consultation, it was already a lunch time and Dr.Kim left and I had to wait again. When she came back we started our consultation and she answered all my questions. Dr.Kim was quite friendly and welcoming, but I didn't have the same impression as after Dr.Oh. I just decided to go further and tried all options I got. 4. Dr.Park from Opera. And finally, I reached Opera, the closest to Gangnam st. and my hotel. To my surprise, there was no waiting time, even though the place was quite crowded. Dr.Kim met me in his office, took a look at my face and started telling all the shortcomings. I know I came to the plastic surgeon, but as any other woman I don't like when a man pointing out all my imperfections. He advised SMAS lifting with some botox and filler injections and when I told him about fat transfer, he so sharply replied that it's too late for me to proceed it. Well... that was the last drop of my patience. I left his office not completing the consultation. Didn't even want to ask him any questions. Eventually I contacted assistant from Regen and set another appointment with Dr.Oh. and next afternoon we met again and decided that just fat injections wouldn't be enough. Dr.Oh also suggested fillers in my chin for making it more defined as I wanted. After the consultation I got all tests and came back to the hotel to prepare for the operation. When I arrived Regen next morning, the assistant was already waiting for me in the front door and we directly moved to the recovery room. Later I met anesthesiologist, he asked some questions and left. Then I met with Dr.Oh, he again asked me the desired results and what I expect after the surgery, made some points and the nurse escorted me to the operation room. From the moment I got an anesthesia shot I remember nothing. How the process went I knew only from the consultation. The incisions were made in the inner side of thighs for collecting fat, then it was proceeded and injected into desired zones. The operation lasted about 2 hours and Dr.Oh injected 10% more than it was necessary due to the risk of resolving and after the surgery we saved 70cc for the future. Injection Zones - forehead 25cc, checks 2cc, nose zone 3cc. Diostem 2cc and prp 7cc. Filler (tip of the chin a little). I woke up already in the recovery room with a slight headache and dizziness. After lunch I went back to the hotel and slept till the next morning. A week after I came back for different treatments, stitches removal and final check. Hopefully I didn’t have any noticeable bruises and scars on my thighs were only about 0.5cm. The main edema lasted for about three days and then gradually disappeared. The final result is noticeable only after the first two-three months and to maintain the desired effect, correction injections can be made after 3-4 weeks. So, I came back in February. The second procedure didn’t take much time for the rehabilitation, since we already got fat for injections. (Injected Zones: forehead 15cc, checks 2cc and nose zone 2cc). Overall Result – the face contour became more defined. The superficial wrinkles and skin fractures were smoothed out. Got a complex facial rejuvenation. You use only your fat, nothing alien. The final result remains with you for almost all your life. During the second month, I also noticed that my skin was significantly improved, it became more elastic and radiant. But the rehabilitation period is like a lottery, no one can guarantee how long it will last and you never know the % of engraftment. Hope my review can help someone! I do believe with proper care and following all recommendations, it might remain much longer. In some cases like sharp weight loss or gain your results can also be changed.
