cherryontop Posted March 28, 2018 Posted March 28, 2018 Hey guys, I've been doing some research on YouTube. It seems to me that a lot of Koreans on YouTube have been vlogging and talking about their plastic surgery procedures. These videos have been trending and gets lots of views and are also very informative (if you can speak and understand Korean). Has anyone heard of iWell Plastic Surgery Clinic? This vlogger documented her consultation and included a time lapse of her recovery for double eyelid surgery and I am very impressed with her results! I checked out their website, searched them on google image and checked their instagram and it seems they are popular for double eyelid surgery. Next clinic I'm curious about is SMPS http://www.sm-ps.co.kr/ This instagram ulzzang (good looking people who posts mainly only selfies and have huge amount of followers) did a Q&A on her rhinoplasty. More videos: You can probably find many more videos by just looking through the related videos sections. I was shocked to hear locals pay approx $500-800 USD (converted) for DES as I read on this forum most people get quoted 1.3-2.5m KRW which is roughly $1200-2400 USD. It seems the same 5 big hospitals are always mentioned in this forum so I thought it would be interesting to see which clinics local Koreans go to. Cheers.
yyou824 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Hey! Long time lurker, finally doing serious research. I was considering iwell too, Ive been researching on soyoung and their real patient diaries results are very impressive. What other places are you going for? Im so jealous of the local prices too
missy_sana Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Thank you so much for the insight! Keep up the good work! We really appreciate members to post more non-English information (preferably translated) about plastic surgery in Korea, because most of us are just seeing the tip of the iceberg here.
lemmetellu Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Yea.. I've seen some clinics that only charge like $400 for DES (Marble). It can be really cheap.. but I don't trust those places. lol If you want to know more about which PS clinics Korean people go to, you can look back on my post where I went to consultations.
