Hello everyone!

I am running out of time since I will be flying to Korea on May for a primary rhinoplasty. I will be using Docfinder Korea since I will be travelling alone. They have JW (the most expensive price quote! $7500), Banobagi $6500, ID hospital $6500 GNG $6500, and Cinderella $6500. I am deciding on which clinic to go. I originally considered ID hospital but seems like they have bad rep upon reading some forum but I am not sure why. So now, I am deciding between Banobagi, JW and JK. If I will go to JK I will not be using DFK since it is not on their list. All of them will be using a silicone implant for my nose which is I am also scared of to have (I have a bridge but seem not enough when i sent my photo). I am Asian by the way living here in the United States. On top of that, I also am having the dilemma if I should do it here in the states because the cost for me to travel and have the surgery done in Korea will probably the same but I am not sure about the result since US doctors seems more acclimated to Caucasian nose. I would like to ask for your opinion everyone for the remaining amount of time before I travel to Korea.

All information are appreciated. Only few weeks to go...

I’m from the US and I’ve been researching Korean clinics to do my rhinoplasty as well. I can’t recommend a clinic to you based on personal experience, but in regards to your dilemma in choosing between an American surgeon and a Korean one, it’s a personal choice. For me, I know that it would be easier to find an American surgeon and possibly more cost effective, all things considered, but I feel that the results achieved by Korean surgeons look more natural and are more in line with my personal sense of aesthetics.

Also, perhaps you could talk to your doctor about getting a cartilage graft instead of a silicone implant. I absolutely do not want a silicone implant, myself, as I’ve read that such implants have higher chances of shifting and infection.

ID, Wonjin, and Grand all have deaths.

Banobagi and GNG are both vloggers faves and seem to sponsor a lot of surgeries, which skews results.

I know I've heard bad things about JW because some people confused it with JK which is on my list for rhino. It's on my list but not at the top because they seem to do very natural (vs dolly) surgery. Quality surgery however.

Korean doctors are simply more skilled than American doctors (as well as 10-15 years more advanced) and the aftercare you get in Korea is immeasurable. It's more than worth the trip.

I personally would look back on the site before going with DFK. You honestly do not need them and they don't help much. The Korean government can get you a low cost translator and they don't really help you save money by being your middle man (they may cost you more).

I hope I was helpful.

Hello everyone,
I am new and have gotten lots of information from this forum since last year and finally signed up today.
My go-to list is JW, GNG, Banobagi, ID and Jk as recommended from Docfinder and I am keen on Banobagi and JK. I also sent e-mail directly to all the clinics that Docfinder recommended. One thing is the price of JK from Docfinder is cheaper than what JK quoted, Banobagi too. Do you know why? Surgery & doctor are same and cost is cheaper with Docfinder.

I suggest you do some more research on the clinics you have been advised on and Docfinder as well. The search feature is your friend.

Hello everyone
I have my rhinoplasty last year with Docfinder and JW, don't deal with them because JW have to pay Docfinder and so they quote overprice for you, i pay 8 000 USD for primary
rhino (tip plasty and alar plasty, bridge augmentatation), now one year later my nose tip is very droopy, flat nose is still here and difficult to breath, I was thinking that Doctor Suh is the best but i'm disappointing now.
Docfinder don't do anything for you, my docfinder agent don't talk very well korean and she is just working for them a few weeks so she knows nothing about plastic surgery.
The person in charge of Docdinder Shin is simply missing.
I think to have my revision with GNG,ITEM or TOP CLASS if someone have experience with them thank you to send the comment, please.
